OMG – if I could give a place 20 stars, this place would get it! The service was amazing, the food was delicious and interesting and literally not a single bad bite. I don’t eat raw fish and we tried the tuna tartare and I’m converted! The waitstaff was so knowledgeable and recommended all their favorites.

Wow. Just wow. How do they do it. I love food. I’ve traveled a lot and have tried creative food all over the world. This place does things with fresh ingredients that I’ve never had before. Ok they have a “pork belly dish” but this one is unlike anything I’ve ever had. The fresh tuna is mind blowing. And how did y’all do that to chocolate? I’ve had chocolate pudding but this!?! This is like a gift from the gods. If I die tomorrow I die a happy person.

This is the most amazing jewel in South Caroline. The food is absolutely delicious. The lobster roll, the shrimp roll, tuna crudo, fresh oysters, shrimp scampi, shrimp + grits, Bexley Surfboard, shrimp toast, roasted beets salad, she crab soup, and daily specials are phenomenal! Yes, we have tasted them all. Don’t forget the Key Lime semifreddo fabulously fantastic!!! The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful! You definitely will receive exceptional service. Jeremy, Mike, and my favorite oyster shucker along with the staff make you feel like you are part of the family. They have an amazing wine list along with beer and adult beverages. We have eaten here several times and we will continue to make it a staple in our dining experience! I love this place and the staff!!!! They are the absolute best of the best!!!

Our party of 3 sat at the raw bar and we had such a great time! The staff behind the bar were kind and explained different dishes as they were preparing them for service. Everything that came out of the kitchen looked amazing and tasted even better! We had the shrimp and grits, fried soft shell crab, shrimp scampi, and shrimp roll with a side of brussel sprouts and toast. When I say they were the most amazing brussels we had ever had, it is not an exaggeration. The atmosphere is cozy and low-key upscale with knowledgeable staff that go out of their way to make you feel welcome. We will absolutely be back to try more food.

Amazing! My wife and I wanted to go to Shuckin’ Shack but they had an hour wait. We decided to try Bexley and it was serendipitous. Our waiter, Logan, was very good and was able to explain all of the menu items and drink options. The food was very eclectic and delicious. I’d go as far as to say gourmet. Unlike gourmet though, the portions were reasonable. We started with a dozen raw Rip Tide oysters that were small but delicious. Then the scallops on the half shell, pork belly and octopus, and Brussels sprouts. All were amazing! My wife had the smoothest Merlot I have ever tasted and I had a very nice local lager. The bill was about $100 for both of us. We will definitely be back again to try the surfboard and the quail.

One of the best restaurants in Charleston/Summerville. You can tell they take pride in every dish. Delicious food and attentive staff. Everything was fresh. Not a huge fan of shrimp and grits but I could not stop eating theirs! Bexley Surfboard was amazing! We also did the tuna poke bowl, crudo, and she crab soup all of which were really really good! Adding this place to our list of date night spots.

Excellent service. The food is some of the best I have ever had. Truly a great experience all around. We had the sample variation of a charcuterie board with many types of seafood prepared in unexpected and delicious ways. I’m from Cape Cod and this is better seafood than anything I’ve had at home.

You must try this place. I haven’t had such amazing food and service in a very long time. I don’t leave reviews often but they deserve the recognition for such a job well done. The pork chop was to die for, so many flavors and cooked to perfection. The scallops were just as good. Thanks for a great meal and awesome service, we will be back!
