They’ve fixed up the place well. I got the taco dinner. The food was packed well, I’m just not gentle with the bag. The steak was thicker cut than I’m used to but was still nice and tender. Rice was good. The hot salsa is delicious. The mild salsa is very mild. Friendly and quick service. Street parking but there’s no shortage of space. I’m always happy for more authentic taco options in town.

Picante was very tasty tonight. My meal with steak, mushroom, bacon and cheese with flour tortillas was a good dish. My boyfriend had Al Pastor tacos which he throughly enjoyed. Also the Papas Picante fries with steak and cheese with jalepeno were amazing. Lastly I had the homemade cheesecake. It was made so well and beautifully plated. I can’t wait to go try other items.

Delicious all the way around! The restaurant is small and charming, and could easily be missed since it’s not on a main road. It’s brand new and probably isn’t getting as much advertisement as needed quite yet, but hopefully everyone will give it a try because you won’t be disappointed!

So I tried this place out and I got the Burrito picante. Steak, chicken, chorizo, grilled onions, jalapeños, rice and beans. Literally perfect, I was extremely impressed with the quality of the meats and it was all delicious. Came with tortilla chips, salsa, hot sauce, and cheese dip for $15. Im getting extra hot sauce next time (hotter than Frank’s red hot and cholula for references) I feel the pricing is perfect, I definitely wouldn’t expect to pay less. The one problem they have if their location, parking is non existent, and it’s okay inside. But I’m really hoping for myself and their own success they end up getting a new larger location. New fav
