I went to this taco place in Columbia, Tennessee, the other day and tried their steak tacos. The tacos were pretty good, but not great. The steak was cooked well and the salsa was spicy, but the tortillas were a bit dry. I also thought the tacos were a bit overpriced. Overall, I would give this place 3 stars.

Visiting Nashville for a wedding and we happened to drive by La Chalupita restaurant. It looked like a place where the locals hang out because there were a lot of cars and people around the restaurant. Decided to stop and eat. Was reasonable priced and the food was good. I had the burrito supreme with guacamole and sour cream on the side. My companion had fajitas. The beans and tortillas were excellent. It’s worth the stop if your in the area. There were boots and items for purchase also. It looks like they are remodeling so kind of a construction look and feel inside, but worth the stop.

Says authentic. IT IS NOT. The worst Mexican food I have ever had. Order steak burrito and steak tacos. The meat was tuff and dry. And it the rest was equally disappointing.

We stopped in on a recommendation from a friend… and so glad we did! Wasn’t sure what to expect. It’s a small place compared to some of the Bigger Chain Restaurants … this was Awesome Authentic Mexican food! Coctel de Camarrón, Taquitas de Mexicana, and Quesadilla de Camarrón. I was looking for some dry peppers for an adobo and honestly they have a great variety, ancho,morita,pasilla, etc. And nice price for a big bag, I bought like 4 different kind of peppers, very pleased ,if you go there try the banana wrapped tamales !
