2nd time here. The first time wasn’t too bad but this time was horrible. The fried shrimp they use is like the nonsense they serve at a buffet. Not fresh and not what I’d expect from a seafood restaurant. Flat and smashed shrimp. The fries were hard and DRY. The serving was pretty small too. My daughter’s crab legs looked yummy but she said they were really greasy so she couldn’t finish them. Won’t be returning.

I was craving some seafood and was about to head out to a spot I had in mind. But as I was driving by, I saw this place and looked at the menu. First hand, this is affordable than most places I’ve seen. The establishment is clean and menu is clear and visible to read. The clerks at the register were friendly and greeted. Very patient with me while I was deciding. Got my food (Special 5) and my goodness, it did not disappoint! Every thing was cook as it should be and flavor was there. I think what I appreciate the most was there was an associate sitting at the entrance looks as she was on her break and she was still courteous to greet when I came in. In addition, after I got my food she also checked in on my table to see if we were doing alright. Definitely will go back!

1st impression: Clean premises, nice industrial/rustic decor. As soon as we walked in we were greated by the young lady at the register, she was polite and welcoming. We ordered the lemon pepper chicken wings, boil special 6: shrimp, sausage, corn and potatoes with the hot Cajun seasoning, and the gumbo. The food was prepared promptly and brought to our table piping hot. We began with the wings and they didn’t disappoint, they were cryspy and incredibly not greasy. The gumbo was full of sausage and shrimp and served with a cup of white rice, it was delicious as well. Then the boil was just perfect, the amount of spice and flavor, just delicious. We were glad to go to this place and look forward to coming back again.

I wanted to try a new seafood place and decided to give this faculty a try . I read the reviews first and must all were good. I ordered the special 1 with the rocking sauce and a cup of gumbo. Let me tell you, it was so good I was making a mess eating it! Unlike the other reviews, the sauce dud not taste like tomato sauce and it was spicy just the way I like it and yes the shrimp were deveined. When leaving we got a to go container for the gumbo and rice. My husband put the rice in first then the gumbo on top. The manager came to ask how we were doing and saw how my husband packed the leftover soup. He said oh that’s wrong, I says why and he said the rice will absorb all the liquid from the soup and you won’t have soup. He said to give him a few minutes and he would fix it. He totally made us a new batch of rice putting it in a box and a whole new container of gumbo! It was so nice of him to do that and spoke volumes of how he cared about his food and customers!! We will definitely be going back!!!

This is my second time trying this place. My first visit, We ordered the special #1 & #5. The only thing we were pleased with was the snow crab, corn, potatoes & rockin sauce. The shrimp & crawfish was so mushy and tasted old. Like it was sitting in old water for days. Huge disappointment & waste of money. So I decided to give it another try because the staff is SUPER friendly and the place is very clean and cozy inside. For my 2nd visit, I ordered the shrimp teriyaki noodles, noodles were delicious but again the darn shrimp was mushy and tasted horrible. SoI ate only the noodles. I think maybe they are using leftover shrimp from previous day(s). I picked up my order before 1pm and there is no excuse to have shrimp that is not fresh. Owner/Manager if you are reading this PLEASE make sure your establishment is providing fresh food at all times, my goodness this is seafood (we can get sick from this) and we’re paying bucks for this food. I know the cost of food has gone up, but don’t risk your customers and their health. In the future, I will give your place one more try because of the other reviews and friendly staff and I know your food has 5 star potential. I want to leave 5 stars, I love seafood c’mon no time for slacking.
