Giving 5 stars for everything has to meet a lot of criteria in my book, and this place has it all ! Quaint, old and cozy mountain cabin. Rustic charm. Although I didn’t feel any ghosts, the stories say they are here. Breakfast on a Wednesday morning was quiet and peaceful. Our server, Kristen , was super friendly and fast. Linda was cooking ( for the last 20+ years ) and my biscuits and gravy were as good as any I’ve ever had.. even in southeastern Kentucky. The 1/2 order was huge ! As per my request, the bacon was crisp and definitely delicious. My other half had a ham and cheese omelet and potatoes… He ate every last bite even though he said it had 15 eggs..lol

I honestly loved this place! I’d consider myself to be rather choosey when it comes to food. I didn’t come in with expectations —it was the only place around that was open— and was blown out of the water! Best biscuits and gravy I’ve had since living in New Orleans. They biscuit itself is made to perfection. Super cozy vibes and the service was amazing. I really appreciated all of Tamra’s help! She was great

Place is small and charming. Bacon, eggs and fried potatoes was excellent. If you are close, stop by. EV charging available.

Want to dine in a historic log cabin built in 1926 just at the foot of Mount Hood? If so this is the place for you. While it may not seem fancy on the outside, you’ll be surprised by the warm log cabin feeling inside. Food was great and our server Alley was awesome. She listened to some of our stories and she had some good ones too. She really made us feel at home as we had been traveling a long time that day. And again great food. My wife had the fish and chips and I had the French Dip sandwich both were excellent!

Great restaurant and bar. The hash browns alone will make you come back. One of the best chicken fried steaks I’ve ever had and the gravy is amazing. A locals spot so you know it’s good! Went for breakfast my first day in the area and can’t wait to come back tomorrow. Honestly worth the drive from Portland.

Wonderful fork tender chicken fried steaks, thick smooth country gravy and the best hash browns I have had in years. Not much from the outside but inside is warm and welcoming. The cabin has a fun history too.
