One highlight of my visit was the affordability. Del Taco offers competitive prices, making it a budget-friendly option for a quick meal. Their value menu is particularly appealing, offering decent portions for the price. However, where Del Taco falls short is in the execution of their dishes. While the flavors are satisfactory, they lack the authenticity and depth found in other Mexican fast-food chains. The tacos, for instance, were average at best. The meat fillings lacked robust seasoning and the tortillas were a bit dry. It felt like they were missing that extra touch to elevate the taste.

I’ve received nothing but excellent service at this del taco location. Every worker there always has a smile on their face and are so polite and prompt with taking your order. One that really stood out to me, is a woman Named Treasure. She is so well spoken, kind, and will go the extra mile to make sure your order and experience exceed your expectations. First I should probably say but I don’t think they were very many people or anyone who actually for that matter there was more excited than I was to get another Del Taco in my city. Especially since the one that’s closest to me has hands down the worst drive-thru ever! I mean this drive-thru is so bad I couldn’t even begin to tell you how many different types of colors I see from paint transferring on the walls. But this review is not about that Del Taco it’s about the new one on Lake and let me just say this place should get five stars simply for the fact that they have my favorite soda, Barg’s Rootbeer! Seriously though this it’s pretty good. From the food to the service to the clean dining area and yes the Barg’s Rootbeer, this is a place I’ll definitely be coming back to.

The Truth
I had a long, very detailed account of my last visit, but this time I’ll keep it short and simple. Simple ingredients need more attention, here they get less. The food is always wrong and the beans were that last bit scraped off the side of the pan, just old and dried out. People that serve bad food doesn’t deserve to be in the food industry. My wife reminded me that this makes the 5th time I ordered the tostada and didn’t eat it. I must be way past my after drinking no taste buds moment in life because this food is always bad and the food Is always delivered with the bags unsealed and the tostada box unsealed. It’s so easy to put 1 sticker on a box…or is it!? Dun dun dun dunnnn…..
