I have never been to a place with such bad service. You ask for something and they forget it. The food of some never arrives. When we made the reservation, they told us to see the music, the music never came. I asked for a cancan chop and what they brought me was a round of ham fried in old oil. It smelled of burnt. I’m not going back to that place.

The 2 girls serving were very nice and attentive. The problem is, for a Saturday evening and an empty restaurant, we were told they had run out of chicharron de pollo, carne frita and other items on the menu. We could not order sopa either because we were told that since it wasn’t selling well, they’re not making it anymore, but still on the menu. I was really hoping for a nice dinner experience since I have been thinking of bringing our jeep club here for dinner, but not with that kinda service.

I’d give it 3.6 stars. There’s plenty of parking for the size of the restaurant. Allow me to differentiate between mofongo which is a Puerto Rican dish made with plantains, a protein, and Mangu(tilde on the U) which is a Dominican dish also made with plantains, and a protein. I’ve read some reviews that indicate this is a Dominican restaurant, and although the staff is for the most part Dominican, the dishes, and food they serve are Puerto Rican. Even the music they play is while you eat. They start you with hot, delicious, toast you’ll eat more than one i assured you. So we ordered passion fruit margarita, regular margarita (the size, taste, and price don’t coincide). For apps calamari(a bit greasy appeared refried), fried cheese( cheese, fresh, hot, with a guava sauce delicious), yuca frita ( fried cassava fresh and tasty). Main course ordered a chuleta kan kan(pork chop usually twice as big as the regular chop. The texture was rough, and too thick). We also ordered a mofongo with churrasco ( skirtsteak which juicy, tender, fresh, at the right temperature, the size was very small). The other churrasco that was ordered was cold, and it tasted good. The service by the staff was professional, attentive, and courteous. One more observation the men’s restroom needs an upgrade desperately. I probably won’t return again.

It was a disappointment going to this restaurant. There were 2 waiters and the younger one was nice but the other one was not so good. They didn’t give me one of my sides but they did charge me for and they overcooked my steak. Meat tastes weird, like it was frozen multiple times.

Mofongo Steak House is a amazing, the food was great the shrimp mofongo with red sauce was soooo yummmmy. the shrimps where so big the sauce was done right the mofongo was on point! and the portion was absolutely fabulous! I also ordered The Seafood Mofongo with Lobster. That was to die for omg all that seafood muscles, scallops, octopus etc that HUGE Lobster it was AMAZING that plate was huge it was absolutely 100% amazing it was out of this world!!!! Its the perfect combination of oooo ahhhhs and ooooo im in heaven!!!! For drinks we had Pina colada non virgen as well as passion fruit juice & water

I’ll start by saying this: the staff is great here. Everyone had a nice personality and was very helpful. The food is ok, I wouldn’t consider this a steakhouse though. I ordered a skirt steak, and the size was so small compared to my wife’s skirt steak. It had to be maybe 6 oz of skirt steak maximum. The calamari we ordered looked like onion rings, it had to be some frozen Restaurant depot type calamari, and it was way over cooked. It actually had a snap like a rubber band, which I did not enjoy. The mofongo was decent, there were some dry pieces of pork that were not edible. Overall not worth the money.

Let’s start with 4 drinks that took over 30 minutes to bring and at the end was not what we ordered. Food presentation was amazing. A lot of food. July just save the day for us; she was not our server but came in to solve the drink issue and was coming in several times to ask how was the food and drinks. She is awesome!
