Love their hotpot. Been here twice. Food and service were equally excellent both times. Their broths are so flavorful. We’ve tried the miso, tonkatsu and Spicy Schezwan. The Spicy Schezwan is great to have on rainy days.

It was a cold day and was craving hot pot. The restaurant is small and it seems like takeout was popular during dinner. We only saw street parking which is plentiful. The owner was very friendly and attentive.

They forgot part of our carry out order. When I called, they sent someone right over to deliver the missing dish. Food is always good. Employees are super friendly and always seem to remember our favorites.

Food’s pretty good. But the place is insanely overpriced if you’re not getting one of those 2 item + rice/chow mein combinations. I mean I think it’s like 7 or 8 bucks for 3 beef teriyaki sticks, and they aren’t the greatest. My grandfather tried them, but me personally I’ve had the boneless spareribs and chicken teriyaki and that was good.

Such a great way to wait out poor traffic conditions. We love the fresh and expertly prepared ingredients for our HOT POT. Why go to Boston, when Shabu Lee has all you want nearby.

Shabu lee is a small Japanese/ Chinese restaurant located in downtown Norwood. This little place serves some of the most amazing food with very reasonable prices.

Excellent service and food. Im very satisfied with the food. They allow for special instructions with online ordering and that makes things easier than having to call the restaurant. The beef and broccoli is a bit thin in my opinion.

Shabu Lee, Hot Pot, Japanese, and Chinese food all on the same menu. I had the Hot pot, which was a really good time, with fresh veggies, salmon, shrimp, and tofu. I find poaching or cooking your food fast but thoroughly, is a very healthy way to eat. It’s not for everyone, though it could be. However, you have to have high grade fish and other foods that can be cooked. The restaurant doesn’t have other sauces than soy sauce, which is one of the main reasons that I didn’t give it a 5 star rating. For Hot Pot, you need at least Sesame paste or sauce for dipping. The help is just okay, but very aware of when your drinks are empty or sauce needs filling. The guys in the back who prepare all the food are very pleasant. The menu has so many great looking items. There were many people eating there at 2 pm on a Saturday before Christmas Eve.

People were friendly but the service was bad. No serving utensils. We ordered chicken and broccoli, but they brought us beef with broccoli. We sent it back. They returned quickly with the chicken but had just dumped the beef out and replaced it with chicken. There were still pieces of beef in the dish and it tasted like beef. Wouldn’t recommend this place.
