Another hidden jem. The quality and quantity of food is amazing. You can tell there is pride in every dish that comes out of the kitchen. The staff was friendly and the owners down to earth but take their business seriously. I have only begun to eat my way through their menu. The pickled pelican is a loaded bloody mary that is crafted with pride. The atmosphere is homie and warming like your eating at someone’s home. Definitely one of my favorite places on my radar.

Dinner with friends. Amazing salad that the chef (I want to say…Jimmy?) added homemade croutons to because I asked about them. Wonderful, friendly staff. So worth going out of the way for. Won’t be my last time there. 5 ++++++

My wife and I went here for the first time tonight and ordered the 10 topper pizza. Now I know the difference between fresh dough and old dough. This pizza was made with fresh dough and every topping was fresh hand cut. It was one of the best pizza’s I’ve had in a good while.

The restaurant is quite small. The atmosphere is kind of rustic in a historic building. Servers are friendly, but, ahem, can be easily distracted by the frequent customers and lose track of their other customers. Menu is limited, but somewhat unique with the Hungarian offerings. Didn’t offer the goulash the day we were there. The Hungarian cabbage and noodles was delicious as were the pierogies. I added the kielbasa to the cabbage and noodles. A nice touch, but not really necessary. We will go back.

We went on a Sunday for brunch. Their Pelican Pickle Bloody Mary was amazing! The breakfast pizza was filling, we added jalapenos for a little zing. It’s a little out of the way, but we’ll be back!
