I’m from San Jose & was craving a vermicelli plate like I would always get back home. And be been to MeKong before but never to this place. SO glad I came in & will continue to be a customer! This plate satisfied all my craving & then some. Idk what were in the crunchy egg rolls it came with but my goodness they were good! $15 for this & I will be coming again soon to try the pork plate! Thank you for allowing me to feel a bit at home here

Super friendly and delicious! Had a great experience here with everyone that helped us. Our food was delicious and came out fast. The best part was the soup I got with my meal and the grilled meats! A perfect balance.

I’m hesitant to put a review down because my order was for takeout and the food probably would have been better if I had eaten it right away. The spring rolls with pork and shrimp were very good even after the delay, excellent peanut sauce. My special rice dish with chicken had good flavor, giving the benefit of doubt that the texture was again due to not eating right away and effectively steaming in the container. I’ll stop back again when I’m at the Mekong supermarket

Food is okay, nothing great, portions are small. Customer service (or namely the owner) is definitely lacking. I came in at 7pm, just sat down and he kept asking for my order repeatedly. Then he finally said we are closing at 7:30 pm! It’s posted at 8:30 pm. I felt rushed the entire time. I could not enjoy my meal. He started to mop and put up chairs while I was still eating. To top it off, I was rushing to pay the bill and get out of there, I noticed a $4.99 item charge. I did not order anything extra, so I asked him what it was and he acted like he didn’t hear me. I definitely will NOT be coming back!

It not a great Thuan Kieu restaurant and their food worse than the on in California. Staff are friendly but the food taste horrible, especially the fish sauce are not tasteful at all.

I’ve visited Mekong Plaza numerous times since I was a kid, but it was only recently that I took the opportunity to dine at this restaurant. Surprisingly, I had unknowingly overlooked their food all this time; the moment I indulged in their dishes, I became immediately captivated. Not only is the food memorable and bursting with flavor, alongside the owner’s generous hospitality and tireless patience, accompanied by a warm smile, left a lasting impression on me. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone and everyone looking for an outstanding dining experience!

The service is friendly and the bun is excellent (it’s what we always get). The Vietnamese Iced Coffee is very tasty – but it had lots of ice, next time I’ll ask for a smaller amount of ice. The way they prepare the steak is excellent. I’ve had the pork as well – both are great.

Yummy yummy yummy! I stopped by here a long time ago before shopping at the supermarket right next door and have been coming back since! The food is GREAT and always comes out so quickly. My parents love this place and frequent more than any other Vietnamese restaurant in the area. The prices are so reasonable and portion sizes are great. I always stick to a rice dish, but have taken a few bites from others dishes and they have always hit the spot. Give this place a try! They’ve been around for a long time and always provide the same quality of food.

This is definitely one of my go-to places for Vietnamese broken rice (Com Tam)! Usually whenever I go to Mekong to get groceries, I would stop by one of the restaurants in the area and this is definitely one of my top picks!!!

Great tasting grilled meats. I think it’s best to eat anything grilled meat related dishes such as rice and rolls. Since the name of this restaurant contains “Com Tam” which means broken rice, they are more known for broken rice dishes. It can be busy during the weekend. Services is ok not quick. Great location too. You can go to the supermarket which is right next door.
