My friend and I decided to try this place and it was okay. The service was top notch and our waitress was amazing!! The portions were big!! I had the fried chicken livers and my friend had grilled tilapia. The livers were okay and quite frankly the left-overs were better cold. Lol…. My friend said her food was really good.

First time 8/15/2023. If I could give the Food no stars I would. The okra, hush puppies, catfish, chicken strips, and fried shrimp were all cooked to Death. The cheddar peppers had a very strange taste. Catfish fillets were very small, and tasted frozen. Everything fried tasted old, and fried in old grease.

Let me start out by saying the restaurant was super clean and our waitress was the best!!!! That’s not why we went out to eat tho, we went because we were hungry! The food was low quality especially for the price! I had the baby shrimp (popcorn shrimp) and my husband had the catfish, we both had hush puppies and red beans and rice. Our bill was approximately $35. The quality of the food was more fast food instead of southern cooking. I’m from Texas so maybe my idea of southern cooking and theirs is different? The beans were burnt and the rice was undercooked, the hush puppies burnt and the catfish was square like maybe it was pressed fish like fish sticks, the shrimp was decent though. So if you’re looking for real southern catfish this isn’t the place.

Apologies went out to the customers that was wrongfully overcharged on a tip I have spoken to her and told her I am so sorry I gave her money back and told her next time they came in I was going to give them a discount and that I hope she does come back! The server that did this was fired and we do not tolerate that at my restaurant. We are sincerely sorry we fixed the matter and that would not be happening in our restaurant again. We are a new business and we have to weed out the bad and bring in the good and we appreciate all your opinions and all your comments so that we can fix the problems!

$65 on dry food for three people plus a appetizer. Upcharge of a $1 for overcooked grilled chicken and shrimp that wasn’t communicated on the menu or by the waitress. The universal sign of your lid being off your cup meaning you need a refill doesn’t apply here you have to ask everytime. The liver and gizzards were brickets they were so overcooked. The server’s did a lot of leaning and sitting considering the place was dead during what should be the dinner rush. You get a metal fork and knife but a plastic spoon that I can assure you doesn’t make the food any better. Definitely a one and done.

A little disappointed that getting the hush puppies as a side was only 3 small ones. I would think you would have a number on your menu stating how many you get with an order. The chicken Philly cheesesteak had good flavor but on the small side but not surprised in todays market. Over all I feel it was decent meal but over priced for quantity.
