Fluffy and large pupusas for an amazing price. We tried the loroco with cheese and the chicharron with cheese pupusas, and both had a ton of filling and were cooked perfectly. Platanos were great and had the perfect amount of crisp as well. The inside smelled pretty strongly of cigarettes when we were there, and I’m not sure I’d dine in again. Would definitely do take out and come back for the food though!!

Simply amazing quality and care goes into every delectable dish at Papusas Fire & Bar. We ordered the sampler platter, which includes three papusas, chicharrones, fried yucca, two tamales, three desserts, and sauce to dip all of it in. We finished it all off with a glass of Salvadorian horchata, which perfectly complements the cuisine with notes of toasted sesame. Each bite was uniquely steeped with tradition and pride in their foodcraft.

We had never tried pupusas before, but we ended up loving them. We ordered way too much, not knowing how filling they would be. The prices are great for how much you get. We’ll be going back regularly.
