This place used to be great. Once they closed the PL location it seems to have gone down hill. The last few times we have ordered from them the food is cold and some times inedible, the portions have become much smaller even though the prices have increased, and tonight the chicken in our empanadas was a really weird texture that came with a side of curdled crema.

Ordered from this place a couple times – extremely hit or miss. Fantastic quesso, but the temperature of the food is always borderline but tonight was embarrassing. Ordered a burrito and it was ice cold. Photos show unmelted cheese and 80 degrees internal temp. Had the rice / steak been hot, cheese would have at-least maybe melted. When I called to complain the girl said she couldn’t deal with this, and her manager was to busy to talk to me and he would have to call me back. Burrito has since been trashed and I’ve ordered from a tried and true competitor. 2 stars for quesso and my wife’s salad, hard to mess up lettuce and some beef I guess.

I never trust anything Yelp says because they like to strong arm small businesses, especially if they chose not to advertise with them. However, in this case, they got one right. Not sure if this place is #1, but it is definatly and A Grade for sure. The parking is a little tricky with only a few spot in front and one spot having a telephone pole right in the middle of the lot on a really busy road. There is ample parking in the back of the restaurant which would be your best bet. The place is small with a counter and a few tables to eat at Chanos. The place is clean and seems to run like a well oiled machine. I ordered a steak burrito that was deleisious. So fresh, packed with flavor. The queso was so good. Also had a side of chips with the homemade salsa. It was amazing. Nothing beats fresh and homemade. This place is the real deal and worth a trip. The staff was super friendly and provided great service as well. I will be back for another visit soon. Great Job Chanos..

Very good food at a good price. Everything was well organized and put together. Burritos were wrapped nice as well as tasty. They label everything. All the sauces that came with the meal were labeled. Highly recommend.

Fantastic Mexican takeout. I’ve been coming to Chanos for years and I’ve always been satisfied. The menu has a lot of options, which is great, and the tacos and burritos come paired with a side of one of several different sauce to go with it.

The one star is only for the chorizo empanada. Everything else we ordered was bland and dry. The nacho meal’s “cheese” was stuck dried to the chips, and the barbacoa looks like it has seen better days. Quesadilla came with white rice on the side… why? Takeout and delivery only. For a place that advertises itself as authentic and homemade Latin cuisine, it seemed like their only seasonings were salt and pepper.
