Lived in Hilo 8 years…this is the only authentic Mexican food here. I’ve tried all major “Mexican” restaurants in town…and they are not really that great. This place is the real deal…cilantro, limes, etc., etc. Having lived on West Coast for 15 years, where real Mexican food is a thing…I can assure you this is the real deal. Simply amazing! Hands down best Mexican food I’ve had in Hawaii, PERIOD! The prices are fair and the amount of food you get is well worth it! The only thing missing is the inability to have Margaritas but that isn’t on the owne, it’s a zoning issue. Will absolutely be back if we’re ever on the Big Island again ❤️

WOOOW! Honestly the best mexican food I’ve had in a while we ordered the steak taco, pork quesadilla, and pork flautas. Oh my gosh, my mouth is just watering thinking about it. It’s also one of the cheaper options nearby and have portable washrooms as well as a parking lot on site. Highly recommend the food, it is absolutely fricking delicious. They even have jaritos!

For someone who likes Mexican food, this place hit the spot. I’m not familiar with Jalisco style Mexican food but I will say that the food was delicious. We got chicken nachos and tacos (asada and carnitas). Everything was well seasoned.

Great location straight shot from the airport, just pull into the gravel lot for parking. It was not to busy so got the food fairly quick it was fresh and tasty. They were friendly and the prices were very reasonable !!!! I would definitely come back again.

If you’re in Hilo, don’t skip this spot! We were staying across from this spot and were eating everywhere else where the food wasn’t that great. Luckily stopped here for quesadillas on the last day out of Hawaii and loved it!
