Very nice place with diner style food. The walleye fish dinner with fries was really good, and I would highly recommend it. Went here with a party of five, and they found us a place to sit right away. Servers were quick to take our orders and always made sure our glasses were always full. If you’re in Taylorville and in the mood for a nice sit-down meal with great food and terrific service, this is the place to go.

Our orders weren’t correct. The food was mediocre. The French onion soup was terrible. They put so many croutons in it that it turned into straight mush. Tasted as bad as it looked. Server was nice, but she got 2 of the 3 orders wrong.

We love eating here. Always friendly and open late. We’ve came in late and asked when they close and they pretty much tell us no worries. Have a seat. What would you like? And serve us like nothing wrong. And never hear a complaint. Happy service. They even sang to my daughter when they heard it was her birthday and gave her a free piece of pie/cake.

There’s very rarely waiting on seating even when it’s crowded. The service is prompt and considerate. If there’s a problem with your order, bring it to their attention right away. They’ll do their best to correct it. They’re attentive. Our table is almost always cleared of unnecessary items as soon as possible. Our glasses are kept refilled. The meals are generous in portion. We usually bring a box or two home. Although we don’t utilize it as often as we should, there’s a card of daily specials. There are a variety of items to choose from on the daily special menu. The prices are reasonable for the budget conscious.

We found this hidden secret in Taylorville a year ago. OMG the food is so good, daily specials, and the wait staff is very friendly. It is well worth the drive. While your there check out the lil shops that the town has.

I absolutely love this Spring Garden in Taylorville IL! The food is always delicious and the waiters/waitreses are always so efficient and kind. They definitely go out of their way to make sure their customers are satisfied and leave with a smile (even when they themselves are exhausted and having a rough day) They have a great selection on their menu and slightly higher priced but well worth it. Will always return here when I have the chance.
