Called in for a pickup order on the way home from work. Thought the order total was a little high just going based off the online menu prices, shrugged it off and said to myself maybe the online menu needs updating as far as prices. When I received my receipt I saw it said automatic 10% added to all takeout. If this would have been stated over the phone when placing the order I would have cancelled. I cannot understand this logic to add 10% to take out I mean you’re literally not having to deal with somebody dining in and you’re not having to clean up their mess. Now I will say this they did have a little notice right in front of the register about the 10% but if you’re not paying attention you wouldn’t even notice it ,I didn’t even notice until after I looked at my receipt. Very disappointed. Will not be returning. Thought everybody should be made aware of the 10%. I told 10 other people about it that have eaten there and they said they wouldn’t be returning either. So it’s not just me. The only reason I gave them one star is because the food was still halfway decent. Not as good as when they first opened but better then most in Pine mountain. Still better than Cricket’s ever was…….I’m not disappointed about paying a small labor cost I’m disappointed about not being informed about a 10% extra charge until I’m there paying for it and discover it myself. If that is how you choose to run your business that is fine it’s your’s. I think it’s deceptive myself that you don’t inform your customer’s beforehand over the phone when placing a to go order. If it is your policy and you truly think that is the right way to handle it I would think that you should inform your customer’s when they place their order. The other thing is nobody else in Pine mountain does this or any other restaurant I’ve been to as a matter of fact so what makes yours so different? All these other restaurants face similar dilemmas and yet their employees are making it and the restaurants themselves are making it.

Wow, what a meal. I visited Tidbits to grab a bite and had the best burger I have had in a long time. Their pork chops are worth the return trip! Finished my meal with a couple of cocktails in the bar and was lucky enough to meet the owner and his wife, truly people who care about their customers satisfaction. I don’t post reviews often, but Tidbits was such a great experience, Infelt others should know about this hidden gem.
