I met a few colleagues here for lunch and I can honestly say, I couldn’t just sit there without complementing how beautiful the place looks inside! The food and desserts was magically delicious and I was very pleased with the customer service. Archies Tropical Cuisines has became one of my new favorite restaurants!

O.M.GEEEEE i have been here two days in a row because it’s like that! Yesterday I had the Curry Chicken because they were out of the Jerk in thier defense we got there 30 minutes before closing but still received great service and the food was really good ! The inside decor was immaculate and very welcoming the owners were on site and were super cool. By far the Jerk chicken is my favorite! the spice was right and the cabbage rice and beans were perfect. You guys finally brought something worthwhile to Salisbury! Well done Mike and Cherrelle !

OMG I had the Oxtail with rice and beans with plantains. Red velvet cake with a beef patty. The flavor of the Oxalis was amazing only down fall is could of cooked a little bit longer (me I love for it to fall off the bone). I have not had a beef patty like that since I left Upstate NY 6 yrs ago. But $9 for one ba little steep. Let’s talk about this Red Velvet Cake. The first time I taste red velvet cake I did not like it. But today this cake is so moist and so good. If I ever want red velvet cake I will only want it from here. And they used regular rice that I’m use to when going to a Jamaican restaurant. If y’all want some good flavorful Jamaican food go to Archie’s

This was soooo good! I originally ordered just sides(mac*chz, rice*peas and plantains), but once I saw the Snapper! Goodness!Everything is PERFECTLY seasoned, not too spicy for the delicate palate but spicy enough for the bold…oh! And the coco bread was warm and perfect texture of any I’ve ever eaten and I’ve eaten alot…I dont recall if there were any sweets but prices were decent, and atmosphere was sooo relaxing and intimate..parking wasnt bad but on busy days might be but there’s a shopping center with plenty of parking right behind and it was not difficult to walk from there…you might need to after eating such a good, home cooked meal! I’m a truck driver, so I eat a lot of places, and this food is so good…I’m headed home now and will be stopping through to get a plate…

I got to go to Archie’s today and I was so impressed! The food is amazing and the place is very welcoming and bright. I brought my leftovers home and my children tried it and ate it all! I’ll definitely be back!

Let me say Archie’s look great on the inside and have a friendly staff, The wait for food is way longer than usual that may detour a few customers, the food portion is great but the overall taste is not there at the moment, like many island restaurants if you want oxtails you have to get there early, my order was slightly mess up instead of mac and cheese I receive double cabbage, This restaurant is new and Im sure with time it will get even better but for my first visit Ima go 3 stars, will try again and I encourage you guys to give Archie’s a try.

Pictures can be very deceiving! It’s not authentic Jamaican/African cuisine. The codfish fritters were more like salmon patties, chicken patties had no filling inside of them, African spinach stew was not like the picture shown in the menu. Hopefully it gets better!!
