Floors were slippery. All the bbq sauce containers need to be cleaned. My wife ordered pull pork and it came like like one big chunk of pork instead of being shredded. I am usually generous in my reviews but this place needs work. I though it had great potential when it first opened Management needs to tighten up on how to run this business. I feel business will fall off if there are no changes from what we experienced.

This chain location is much like the others. The portions are of decent size and are appropriate for the price point. The service was very quick, a huge plus for me. It may have just been what I ordered that does not take long, but bbq in general should not take a long time to prepare.

The goods: Fast service, food was out in less than 5 minutes. Peach syrup for the tea, full bar, and dominion root beer on draft – very cool drink selection! Also, the Cucumbers, Tomato, and Corn salad was refreshing and delicious! The wings were big and had lots of meat.

Too much smoke and rub on everything. All the meat tasted exactly the same. The only meat that tasted somewhat different was the sausage. Food was cold, cornbread was dense and dry, beans were smoked too much and had a funny seasoning in them. The food was just not enjoyable. The only good items according to my family was the salad and french fries. Back off on the seasoning and smoke, and serve the food hot. Over smoked is not real BBQ. Won’t return.

Urban BBQ is clean and bright, and service is rather fast. Unfortunately the meat and cornbread just aren’t that great. I’ve had a few of the meats and although there is nothing terribly wrong with them, they’re always too lean and dry. The cornbread has a strange texture, having large chunks of corn mixed into the corn flour and has little to no rich butter taste.

Baam, that’s how I would describe the beef brisket and Cole slaw that I had last week at the Urban BBQ. The food was super, and the environment and staff were very inviting. The decor is very Maryland with a Country and modern look. Nice bar with tv and cold beer. I’ll be back!!!

So I decided to sneak out off work and grab a bite to eat.initially I was going to go to Dublin donuts but I said let me try something new. Glad I did. It was amazing. I even told the cashier I was in a hurry so I received my food extra fast so luckily my boss didn’t notice I had left!! Great place
