Our visit was short and sweet this afternoon. I personally loved the vibe inside the restaurant, my partner and I ate outside at one of the tables since the weather was nice. Knocking off a star as one of the oysters in my half dozen was comically small. Like, the size of a nickel small. BUT they were the best tasting oysters I have ever had, despite the size. The salmon tacos were phenomenal. I would definitely stop by again to try some of the other menu items in the future.

This place was a pleasant surprise. The seafood was amazing and the beer excellent. Highly recommend the tuna tacos paired with the mango beer. Relaxing vibe. They have 3 areas of seating. One in front of the restaurant, inside and out back in a parking lot area. It’s unique but not a bad thing. See pictures for details. There was not much airflow inside so I recommend opening the door out back for a cross breeze. Other than that this place was excellent and the service was spot on. Enjoy!

Stopped in here for a drink while shopping around downtown. The atmosphere of the bar is OK. No A/C. It’s small. It’s a bar that serves some food, not a bar and restaurant. Beer selection is robust; a nice combination of your standard beers and craft beers. The bartender was nice enough. We ordered the “Adult grilled cheese” and it was a flop. They used plain, old white bread for an $18 sandwhich?!? C’mon yall. Sea Salt should bop over to MELT and take a page or 2 from their playbook on how to make a grilled cheese.

Ordered the Florida Snapper Ceviche and I would give it a 8/10– which is way more than I was expecting! The fish itself was delicious and tasted fresh. I loved to see the cancha and sweet potatoes, very traditional. My only complaint is that the lime juice was too bitter and there wasn’t any spice. They incorporated jalapeños and I just felt like they didn’t belong there (I love jalapeños too). Aji or Rocoto was definitely needed.

Wow, I can’t believe I’ve missed this spot downtown. Great food and awesome servers who took care of our rowdy group deserve all 5 stars. The beer selection was amazing, and having a bartender who took an interest in walking you through several different beers throughout the night was enjoyable. Keep up the great work y’all!

First, I just need to say that the oysters were DELICIOUS. I even found two little pearls. With that being said, I wish I could rate 3.5 stars as a rating of 3 seems too low, and 4 too high. There truly is nothing like having oysters shucked for you, and they did a good job. But Sea Salt is more of a dive than a bar. (Just know what experience you’re going for, and you’ll love it-if you love oysters like I do.) The restaurant’s open-wall layout to the street is a fun change from most restaurants, but the charm sort-of ends there. The music was extremely loud and I was actually surprised at the selection. Very basic…. Pop. No atmosphere creating indie or culture nods to the Gulf. Oh well. You can’t win in the music department every time. If you want to watch sports or people crashing their cars, bikes and selves into things on “fail tv”, you could watch said channels at the same time, and on multiple screens.

I get the tuna tacos almost once a week. Just enough spicy, super crunchy gyoza shells, delicious tuna, and avocado mousse. Little bite-size tacos… perfection. I love all of the staff, especially Terrence, Jay, Melissa, and Ryan.

I thought this place would be bigger on the inside. The grilled cheese that I got was too stuffed and creamy, so I got the shrimp cocktail as an extra. They only give you five or six pieces of shrimp. The chips that they had were my favorite.

Awesome food, it was great to try oysters from all over the world. Not only that but the clan chowder and tuna tacos were some of the best I’ve ever had.

We were there late Friday night, and the 5 stars is for the man working that night l, he was very attentive and friendly. The Ahi Tuna tacos they were also 5 star, but the ceviche isn’t something I’d order again.
