I’m still trying to figure out why this place gets poor reviews. I placed a delivery order that cost me 29 bucks. It was well big enough a meal to fully satisfy two people. The pizza, breadsticks, and spaghetti were all very hot and well made. And the kid that delivered it was early and friendly. I’m not sure of what else you might ask for. I’ll definitly order again.

They get two stars because they did get us the pizza on time. The pizza itself was disappointing. It tasted like a baking-soda crust instead of a yeast crust. Either that or it was parboiled. Not great. We ordered the veggie pizza and it did not have all the ingredients listed – it would have been fine had they said, “oh by the way we don’t have all the ingredients right now.” The toppings were really randomly distributed on the pizza, with some pieces being chock-full of toppings and other pieces having almost none. I like a wide variety of pizzas and I am not very picky, but if you can’t get the crust or the toppings right, what’s the point?

Used to order here often but their hours online are not accurate and their website is not managed or kept up to date. I called 3 times waiting a minute each time on a Saturday around 9pm. No answer and just rings forever. Solid food when they actually take your order.

The pizza was pretty good, let’s start there. If I were solely judging on food, I’d say 4/5 stars. It’s the best we’ve had in the Edgerton area…but the service sucks. We’ve been waiting to try this place because there are so many poor and mixed reviews. They’re right! We called in a take out order and we’re told 30 minutes. We arrived almost exactly 30 minutes later, assuming our food would be done or be getting close. Well. My husband sat at the front counter for 10 minutes, with staff walking by, and no one had even acknowledged him. He was finally waited on once HE asked someone for help. He then proceeded to wait another THIRTY minutes at the restaurant to wait for our food while I was sitting in the car waiting. Why not just say an hour on the phone if it’s going to be that long? Also, I don’t know how many carryout orders they had but there were only two tables in their restaurant. They did not appear remotely busy. Also they never apologized, never have an excuse for the time, and never have updates. The food finally came out (not on its own) but after my husband asked for an update at the half hour mark. What a joke.

I usually order an Italian sub. Or Italian beef. And 9 out of 10 times they’re made really well. Delicious! I would only suggest to back off on the salt for the ( skinny ) french fries a bit.

We love Mario’s Italian restaurant. We have eaten their pizza the last twenty some years and Love it. I personally am a fan of the fantail shrimp dinner. It is one of the best values for the money. We actually were in the newly opened part of the restaurant for the first time last night. It is tastefully decorated and inviting. The only issue I found was personally it was rather chilly in there. It was a cold rainey evening and I was hoping for some warmth. Hopefully it will be warmer once we start getting more cold weather.

Was told 45 mins for delivery. They showed up 2 hours later and still expected me to take the pizza. Younger lady there is always crabby and obviously hates her job but stays there because she’s uneducated and can’t get a skilled job. She never wears a hair net either which is a health dept. violation.
