I almost walked by this bar, and I am very happy that I decided to check it out. It is a cute small restaurant/cocktail bar with a staff that clearly loves food and drinks. I was here for apertivo (sp?) hour, so their full menu wasn’t available yet. I got oysters and the pickle boat. Everything was absolutely delicious, and the flavors worked perfectly together. I don’t remember what they put on the oysters, but they were the best I have ever had. I look forward to returning, and I recommend anyone who loves food yo try it out!

Just a great overall experience from the ambiance, the curated wine selection, the on point knowledgeable staff, and my word ……the food. This is a true gem in Tacoma! Oh! My friend had a custom made cocktail…….it was amazing drink! A little spendy, but so damn worth it.

This place is the best! Amazing, unique cocktails. Curated wine selection. Fun, creative, and original plates. The waitstaff was helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. The atmosphere was cozy and quaint. I could easily spend hours here sipping cocktails, having some nosh, and relaxing.

Thoroughly disappointed. After seeing so many rave reviews I thought field bar would be an incredible experience but I was met with slow service and mediocre food for extreme pricing. I would recommend only visiting if the goal is to have drinks with a snack or two because the cocktails and wine selection are where they do have some credibility. I think given time to develop more their food game will become much better. Overall there are just other places in Tacoma that do the same thing but better and cheaper right now.

This is what Tacoma has been waiting for! I had the amazing honor of eating at Field recently and had an incredible experience. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and very welcoming. I love that the menu is seasonally rotated so you get to try new things every time there’s a menu change. The wine and cocktail menu is beautifully curated giving a wonderful array of options. Brian has created a beautiful space and I can’t wait to eat here again!

Such a lovely experience….the cocktails are very balanced and interesting. The food was delicious and very seasonal. The jams are seasonal and delicious. My tiny complaint was that a few things were more salty than I would prefer.
