Had dinner here twice in a week and was very impressed. This is a new Plaza Azteca location that has been completely refreshed on the inside. The decor is more upscale yet casual like other locations. Both times the food and service were excellent. Will definitely be back again.

Had lunch there today. The interior is BEAUTIFUL! Unlike the other Plazas we have visited. The waiter was extremely attentive, and the food came out quickly and was wonderful. We will definitely return!

First – and what will be our last order. Food looks good, tasted fine while eating. However, my spouse and I both were sick after eating our meal. The nausea, vomiting, and all the other things your body does when you’ve eaten something contaminated, out of date, etc. It’s unfortunate because we live close by and would love a quality, food safe Mexican restaurant to enjoy. And this place is a bit pricey. Would be worth it if we dared to risk it again, but that won’t be happening.

I would give it a zero if possible. Wanted to remove chicken and onion from a burrito and they would not allow it. I was not asking for any discount. Asked for the manager and she was too busy to help. Never going back

This used to be la herradura and we loved this restaurant. We went in last week and saw it was rebranded as plaza azteca. We like plaza as well. We saw immediate changes to the restaurant. While on the surface they looked great, it was done quickly and looks shoddy. Terrible caulking on walls and holes everywhere in the walls. We were handed la herradura menus so we were happy about that. Was told the full change was happening today (7-10-23) Service was terrible. Slow. No attention. Food was subpar. Chimchangas looked like taquitos. Plaza is known for better. So bad that we left a tiny tip.which we’ve never done, we were valued regulars at this location before the changeover. Didn’t realize until we got home the server didn’t even give us our credit card back when returning to our table. We won’t be returning and will make the drive to another la herradura location.
