We were so glad to decide to try it here. The food was great, actually much better than the pictures. We ordered a Cuban Pork Bowl and Souvlaski Bowl. Both of them were so delicious. We loved them. They served them in a metal bowl which is better than a plastic bowl. The price was $11.99 with a drink for each bowl. The staffs were very nice. We want to try other menus next time.

They serve-up some real wholesome meals at this restaurant and their prices are pretty comparable to many fast food restaurants. There are definitely some healthy options here, and I particularly like the 1/4 breast and wing chicken platter. It comes with a drink, a pita bread slice, and two sides. This time around I ordered the platter with rice & beans, and macaroni & cheese. That’s a decent amount of food for less than $11.50. My girlfriend ordered the gyro platter. This meal also included two sides and a drink. The gyro meat was actual lamb meat not that processed lamb meat that many fast food restaurants offer. It was a delicious lunch here today.

Much better location in the same strip mall. Food still awesome and everyone friendly from the owner down to the servers. This food is authentic and extremely well prepared. The village salad or village bowl are my favorite but everything is fresh and tasty. Prices are excellent compared to Panera where shrink-flation was in vogue before inflation and Chipotle where the food can taste old and stale. Once you visit you will become addicted!

We ordered here for the first time because they had fairly high ratings. Please see the pictures included. We got the whole chicken family meal which included cookies. One of the pieces didn’t even have any skin or seasoning on it. We never had any place delivery dessert in a plastic baggie like it was leftover from a child’s lunch, the cookies were hard & weren’t even in shape to be for any customer! Additionally, we ordered the triple meat gyro which is also pictured, you can barely even see any meat at all! Lastly, we ordered the cheesesteak, which also barely had any meat. What a waste of money!

This has seriously been my favorite place for inexpensive, tasty local eats for 20 years now. I’ve followed them through three different locations, all in West Springfield! The new location is great– airy and full of light and plenty of seating, still with the fun chicken-themed decor. I’m so glad to hear they’ve reopened after the fire, and they’re just as great as ever!

I ordered the village gyro when I got home it was only chicken. It’s not a gyro if there is no lamb. The fries were old and soggy. We eat here at least 2 times a month. When we called a guy answered the phone when we told him our order was wrong he act like he couldn’t hear us and hung up when we called back he just held the line and didn’t say anything. So disappointed.

Finally stopped by after many years living in the area; so glad I did as thus place is a hidden gem!!! Great chicken, gyro’s, sides and the yucca is suprisingly one if best I have ever had. Prices were very reasonable and large portions of food. Definately a place to add to your lunch and dinner dining.

I had been to village chicken before they burned down and i remember them being good, tasty and nice portions. Went back for the first time in years and was so disappointed. They skimp you out on the sides and no sauces at all. The chicken was ok but their sides were so small and their yuca is very dry. Never coming back again:(
