We had the pulled pork and stuffed grill cheese pulled pork sandwiches. The pulled pork was typical size and meaty, but a bit on the dry side. Flavor was smoky & good. The grilled cheese PP had better meat and the grilled cheese/bread had a nice caramel/crispy texture. The cowboy beans fresh and excellent. Fresh chips were thick with a nice clean potato flavor. Price was a good value. Has bar and table seating. Overall a : 4.6 score.

So being from the south to find an excellent quality bbq place is few and far between to say here in Illinois. I’ve tried quite a few and so far this is by far THE BEST. THIS IS WORTH THE TRIP. Make it a Date night or just for a great drink and amazing ribs. The staff is wonderful and the food is out of this world. HIGHLY recommend and I will be back whenever I’m in Dixon.

Usually when I stop in, I just get my go-to sandwich, which is the stuffed grilled cheese. Last Friday I tried the fried fish for the first time. It was delicious!!! The breading was perfectly crispy, the tartar sauce was perfect, and it came with chips&coleslaw. I’ll definitely come back again on a Friday to get this meal again.

This place is excellent. Wings are perfect – smoky and crispy. Boo-yah sauce is outstanding. Bloody Mary was one of the best I ever had. From out of town and wish I could go back again.

So we had heard about this place from family and was invited to a family outing and haven’t been able to break the addiction that comes with this establishment. Where should I begin,..everything on the menu although simple for a bar that serves smoked food and ice cold beer makes this a weekly (sometimes multiple times during the week) stop. The establishment although small is warm and inviting and the staff is top notch. Never are you left needing much attention although the staff covers everyone so your wait is reduced. Just a phenomenal place and if you’re in the area and hungry for a Lil Smoked and a cold beer, stop in and support this phenomenal place.

Food was great, but they were out of a couple of dishes. I was told that the ribs are cooked on Thursday and I was there on Tuesday, they did heat some up and serve me ribs (thank you ) and the brisket chilli ,did not have , seasonal I was told.
