GREAT new addition to Normandy Beach! Wonderful Margherita pizza. They have an adorable outdoor eating area with picnic tables and string lighting. Owners had pervious pizzeria in Brooklyn, they know what they are doing!

My summer beach house is five minutes away from this pizzeria, so it’s a place I order from often. I wasn’t a huge fan of Mario’s, the restaurant in that spot before, so I was a little skeptical of ordering from here at first. Once I walked in, almost immediately I preferred this atmosphere better. The inside looked so much more aesthetically pleasing and well-put together. As a New York native, I’m constantly comparing out-of-state pizza to our pizza, and I must say that theirs tasted just as good, if not a little better! Good garlic knots are also a must in my book, and theirs passed the test. Looking forward to the summer months so I can continue my newly-found love affair with this place!

New pizzería located in the island, took over what was once known as “Mario’s”. Much needed change, the dishes served here are of high quality. The team is currently working on their menu so there’s a lot of change going on as they find the perfect options for everyone here on the island. So far though, everything I’ve had is very delicious, and would highly recommend!!! As the weeks go by, I’m excited to see how this location develops.

We had the white mushroom specialty and sausage and broccoli rabe pizza; roasted asparagus, and house salad. By far this is the best pizza on the island! A welcome addition and major upgrade from what has previously existed. Was very reasonably priced for the size of the dishes and quality of the food. Will definitely be going back.

Great pizza and one of the tastiest gluten free pizzas. Get the Margheretta pie! Antipasto salad was excellent! Good quality ingredients! Can’t wait to try some of the entrees! Nice to have a pizzeria in the area!

Don’t know where all the 5 star ratings come from . Ordered a veggie pizza the crust was good could use some salt . The sauce was bland and tasted like plain tomato’s it had zucinni on it but very little onion and no Olives . Come on it’s the end of July with 6 weeks till labor day they need to get it together.

Called early in the week to schedule ordering 7 pizzas for a party on Saturday I was told to speak to the owner so I came in a day later. I asked to preorder the pies and was told no worries I could order the day of and they would be ready when I needed them. I called Saturday in the time frame that they recommended and was told it would be an hour and a half after being told numerous times by the pizzeria and owner that it would take an hour. Finally got the owner on phone he was not only dismissive but rude, I reminded him of his promise that he could get my order together for my party with an hours notice.

Best Pizza in Lavallete area… get your order in early (especially on Fri nights) – if you don’t order early enough, you can be waiting 1-2 hrs for your pizza – because it’s that good !! I have tried almost all of the pizzerias in the area, and this one is the best (for pizza)… I have yet to try other menu items, but will eventually…. once you try this spot, you will be hooked !

Just visited for an early dinner at Pizzeria Cucuzza that was previously Mario’s. The caprese salad was a good way to begin. Pizza was a classic neapolitan style. The linguini and meatballs were homemade and of high quality. Limited inside seating but picnic tables out back. A great addition to the island. They do a big take out business and I will be back.

Stopped by for slice, ended up getting a whole pie. Really good and crust was crisp. Service was good too. Not an extensive menu but much better then lenny’s. IMO
