Excellent food!! Taste, ingredient quality, presentation are all without local peer, in our opinion. Mexican or Guatemalan options can be authentic or “Americanized” based on your preference. Worth the exercise that is required, later! Eat here. You’re welcome, in advance!

The boss came and said hi! The atmosphere was friendly and the food was great! I haven’t had Papusa’s that delicious for a very long time. No one seemed to mind that I had brought my baby with me and that he was being fussy. Kid friendly foods are on the menu and our needs were met, as a family.

I gave 4 stars for food only because I don’t like cilantro and most of the items had it in but the food was excellent otherwise. Margaretta was a little small but had decent alcohol and flavor. Stronger garlic flavor in refried beans and liked that. Service was great.

3.5 / 5 stars overall. Rounding up as Google doesn’t do half star ratings.

1) They charge extra if you don’t pay cash. 2) their food is overpriced for what you get, all except for the kids meals. 3) they charge extra for spicy salsa, but don’t inform you. Lastly, mine Guatemalan tamales were 80% corn masa. I don’t think that I got 4 oz. of chicken breast; however, the black bean soup was tasty.

The place was packed but our wait time was not too bad especially for a Friday. The portions were really nice and the prices were reasonable. Our waitress was incredibly nice
