Staying in the area on vacation, stopped in for breakfast. Very much the local spot, as all of the staff knew incoming customers by name. Food came put very fast and tasted great. Priced well for the portions.

Great place for a Sunday brunch! We got omelette and the portions were sizable. The service was great and their waitstaff truly works as a team. The atmosphere was kind of like a diner you’d see in a movie and the food was prepared just right. Definitely going to have to put them in my rotation of places to eat more often.

I’ve been wanting to check this place out for a while but have been hesitant since you have to wake up before dinner. We came here for brunch on a Saturday and oh boy! The place was a lot nicer than I thought it was. The atmosphere was nice and homey. Here I was expecting a run-down place due to how it looked from the outside but I was very wrong. Also, the food we got was delicious! The only thing was the service was a bit slow but they were very busy with only 2 servers up front when we got there do understandable. We will definitely be back again!

We have had the pleasure of going to Benetis for many years now. The food is always great. But the family-friendly atmosphere and super service is also what keeps us coming back! If you want excellent breakfast food, American cuisine, or even some of their ethnic foods (Greek and Mexican) at a very reasonable price, this is the place to try for breakfast or lunch.

Asked for unsweetened iced tea and got sweet by accident. Then had to wait anout10 minutes or so before a food runner came out with my dad’s meal. Asked him if he could get my my tea and had it immediately. The workers are nice but this experience today was not as good as it usual. Hence the low rating.

Nice food. Benetis Athena is a restaurant convenient located close to the 55. It has Greek and Mediterranean cuisine. I asked for the Gyro and Souvlaki Platter (A generous portion of lamb and beef strips and chicken served with Greek salad, tzatziki sauce and pita) for lunch.For me, the food was abundant and delicious. One of the things that I most appreciate this day’s is the possibility to eat outside, in this place, you can. A good option, in Durham. I will come back to this restaurant.

This place was a very pleasant surprise! The only reason I don’t give it 5 Stars is because I rarely think any place is perfect. However, Benetis was super friendly both the staff and the other customers. It definitely feels like a home town place. The breakfast selection was considerable and the execution of our order felt like it was homemade. I very much look forward to returning and trying something new. Hopefully Rosa will be our server again!
