We try to eat here at least once a week and we’ve never had a bad experience. The shrimp are one of our faves. The shrimp are a good size, flavorful & filling. All the sides we’ve eaten taste delicious! The cream style corn was extra good! A couple times we ate there on Friday & again on Saturday. The whole staff has been friendly toward us. Oh, the BBQ meats are all tender & extra delicious! Hope they stay for a long time! Happy Customers❣

Our first visit today was very nice. Arrived around 4pm and wasn’t busy. Greeted by one if the owners and he was very courteous. We ordered ribs and pork. Both were very good. Ribs fall of the bone with good smoke. Didn’t need sauce at all. Pork was cubed and very tender. Portions were good size. We had squash casserole and sweet potato souffle which were great. Prices are comparable with other barbecue places. They have a ice cream bar as well. We will definitely go back.

YES_YES_YES ! First visit yesterday. Got ribs and chopped carry-out w/ 3 sides. EXCELLENT all. Ate the super crispy (not greasy) ONION RINGS in the car driving back to Gulf Shores. They were very good. Had the wonderful SLAW, SWEET POTATO CASSEROLE, and CHOPPED BBQ for supper last night at home, another little BBQ sandwich for breakfast, and RIBS and slaw w/ sauce of course, for lunch today. Best BBQ place we have ever been to in Baldwin County. I am originally from Memphis so I am very picky about BBQ. The meat here is quite nicely smokey, the ribs are lean and fall-off-bone tender. Love the fine shred slaw and the wonderful sauce. We bought the ribs/chopped meat w/2 sides carry-out special and ordered the onion rings additional. A good buy !! Happy about price. We will definitely return !!

Finally got to stop in today and try smokeys out!! Its such a cute little place. I got mine to go this time! We got the fried shrimp and the ribs and they were awesome! For sides we got the okra, mac and cheese and the steamed potatoes…the okra was fantastic!! The potatoes were a little salty but the flavor was good! The portions were good and we were very happy!! We will definitely be going back!!

Great Food ! Great People! Clean place. This is not my first stop in. I have had take out a few times. I’ve had their BBQ and the sauce was fabulous. Today I had the wings with the big boy sauce…. to die for. I usually dip my wings in ranch or blue cheese but not today. I couldn’t eat the wings fast enough… it was Devine . The owner also offered me a teriyaki wing and it was fabulous. Not sweet at all very tasty. I will for sure be a regular at this place.

I’m giving this place one star for the BBQ sauce. We ordered the smoked chicken sandwich with fries, and the young lady I was with, ordered the brisket with baked beans and fried okra. The smoked chicken sandwich was chopped, bland, and dry. So I soaked everything in the sauce. The fries were cold and soft. Seriously… how do you screw up French fries? The brisket was all fat and cold. Not even warm. I wanted to like this new place, but sadly I would never ever eat there again.

Love this place! I always get the chopped pork plate with Mac n cheese & potato salad & the “big boy” bbq sauce. There is always enough to get two meals out of. Prices are very fair. Every there is awesome.

Opening day, I ordered 2 pulled pork plates to go. When I got it home, the first bite nothing but fat. Generous portion, but loaded with fat. The bottom of tray floating grease. The BBQ beans, I have had better out of can. Cole slaw, lacked dressing all I tasted was cabbage. And pulled pork is suppose to be strips of pork, not chopped in square small chunks. We have had better BBQ from Sonny’s, and VA BBQ. Needless to say we are not happy with our new local BBQ restaurant.
