We happened along this place on our way home. My friend ordered the bologna sandwich and I had the fried green tomatoes. My friend said the bologna had a great flavor, but was not cooked enough for her. I ordered the 6$ fried green tomatoes and was not pleased between them being half dollar sized and the amount that was there for the 6$. (I had eaten 1.5 before taking the attached picture)

I would love to say it’s a great place to eat but after waiting for 40 minutes this is my grill cheese sandwich. If you on the time frame for lunch you will definitely not make it on time .To be fair I was offered something else to eat unfortunately I don’t have another 40 min to wait . Very disappointed ☹️

Amazing food. I plan on stopping here every time I pass it. The atmosphere was a bit uncomfortable due to the staring locals but I have learned to expect that in small town restaurants and diners. They recognize you as a stranger and so I guess they either don’t realize or don’t care how their behavior makes others feel. The foods top notch though
