3 star overall. Service was good, atmosphere was nice but the food was disappointing. I will say it was fresh, but tasteless. Don’t get the pina colada, it just tastes like orange juice. Which baffles me. Items off the kids menu came good. The chicken tenders were lightly breaded and perfect with fries. That was the best part of the 145.00 meal.

Very pleasant dining, gorgeous outdoor seating right by the water. We came for Father’s Day and there was no wait. Parking is available near the restaurant, but it is limited to about 12 spots. My salmon poke was just alright, my party members felt okay about their food. The service was great tho, our waitress was extra nice and very patient! I definitely recommend you visit it!

The vibes and view are definitely the selling point here. If you get lucky with a nice sunset, would highly encourage outdoor seating. We even had live which was a surprise plus.

Simply delicious food. Very nice service. And then the view at sunset. We were there on Wednesday night for dinner. We had drinks and an appetizers at the bar before taking a seat for dinner. We ordered cheddar and bacon fritters. They were so delicious we could have filled up on them. Got drinks we has Moscato, which was delicious, sadly they ran out of that. Also, we tried the adult lemonade and spicy watermelon margaritas.

I had a wonderful time dining with my wife at this restaurant! The front desk were welcoming and friendly the moment we arrived. They were able to find us a seat for us right away at the bar. The bartender, Lenny, was friendly and inviting.

The menu is creative and different. We had a watermelon-feta salad, which was great, tuna crispy rice just ok, nice burger and Korean barbecue.

I don’t tend to go out in Newport that much so I don’t have much to compare to. The service was okay here – bar service was slow, table service was the same. Was told we couldn’t be seated early for our reservation because kitchen was backed up. The lobster pasta dish was overpriced for what it was ($46 for rigatoni and lobster meat). The wagyu tartare was excellent. Crispy sushi rice was good as well. I do not recommend the bacon cheddar fritters…tasted like an odd clam cake. Every cocktail I had here was subpar (I don’t think anyone in my party ordered the same drink twice because everyone was just trying to find something that tasted good). Obviously the view was amazing…right on the water. The live music was not my cup of tea…no one was dancing or listening to it. The Reef is not terrible by any means, it’s good for what it is.

Highly recommend getting a group together to enjoy the igloo village. Our 4pm reservation meant we could still order from the lunch menu. The food and cocktails were great. And our servers were so sweet, accommodating, and helpful.
