They use all beef Boars Head hot dogs. I ordered the Galactic Dog, the large hot dog and all the stuff on top was so big I couldn’t get it in my mouth. It was a very messy affair trying to eat it. Hand-cut fries were tasty but a little greasy.

What a cool stop before heading to Folly beach. The staff was pleasant. Even the cooks say hello. Such hospitality at this location. The hot dogs were so good and especially the slaw. The fries could use some looking into but some may appreciate.

This is a fast food place, so atmosphere is not the point. The corn dog and french fries were DELIGHTFUL. First corn dog I have had in twenty years, and this corn dog made it worth the wait. French fries were hot and cooked perfectly. Also want to do a shout out to the lovely cashier, the food runner, and the manager who came over to check our order. Five star service, A+ for employee kindness, and just a happy and immaculately clean place to eat.

It’s a good hotdog, a little pricey, though. You can get it anyway you want or choose one of their house dogs. Got a basket of fries, and they were a bit soggy, could be more crisp. Great atmosphere. Everything is new and cosmic themed. Seating both inside or out. There is plenty of parking out front or in the rear. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Tried Jack’s for the first time and the food was great! Ordered the Blue Galactic and the regular Galatic dog and a basket of fries. My only complaint is there is no AC in the building or it was turned off which made it really hard to enjoy the food. It’s moderately priced— most of the hotdogs $6 or more. But I did like the food and I’ll definitely return! Hopefully they get the ac fixed! 🙂

Awsome french fries and hotdog. The manager had a wonderful disposition. When the manager came over to our table and gave our son a token for a free ice cream treat, it really made us all happy. Great experience.

I freaking love Jack’s and I’m so happy they have a James Island location now. I always get the veggie classic dog and cheese fries and it never disappoints. My favorite hotdog in all of the land! The crew working was on point as well, super quick and friendly!

Order process was painful. Order taker didn’t seem to know the menu or the P.O.S. Had to repeat order several times and still messed it up. We did finally get what we wanted. Ran out of blue cheese Cole slaw. Dogs were good. Fries were very good. Atomic Oero shake was soupy. Sonic would have been a better choice. Jack needs to ensure the service level and food quality is up to standard. Didn’t seem to be a leader there since it just opened.
