You wouldn’t expect such great food from a small whole in the wall restaurant in Hebron Ohio, but the hype is true. It started as a pizza joint but their oven broke and they are turning out amazing Mexican food now. It is very small inside and most people get take out but we found a table on this busy Friday night. Their chips are ok and nothing special but their homemade salsa is delicious. It’s not very spicy which is the way I like it. I ordered a veggie sofafelia which is like a fried Mexican calzone. It is very tasty. For dessert we ordered the fried ice cream which was well with it. They them, toh will like it.

This is a pretty decent place to eat. I think they mostly cater to take out, but I ate inside the restaurant. I ordered the beef nachos and made it the nachos Supreme, which just comes with queso for an extra .75 cents. As my main, I order the beef, bean, and cheese sopafelia and ordered queso with it as well. The lady was extremely polite and courteous the whole time I was there. The reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is the drinks, which is just canned soda and I enjoy the tap soda for whatever reason, anyway I would recommend this place to anyone not a bad place at all.

We were in Ohio for The Gathering of The Juggalos and had hoped to go to Caliente Mexican Grill on Friday, July 7th. However, when we got there, there was a sign on the door that said they were closed from July 3rd to July 8th. Being closed around the 4th of July is totally one thing, but being “conveniently closed” during the duration of The Gathering…it’s obvious they were closed to avoid any Juggalos coming in during the duration of The Gathering, which is backwards – as the business would’ve been great for this restaurant. It’s amazing that in 2023, such bigotry and such disrespect still exists, especially to us Juggalos.
