Oh my gosh! You absolutely need to try this out! I was greeted very kindly from the owner and we chatted a minute about the various choices. He was kind enough to offer a sample of carnitas. I ended up getting 2 carnitas tacos and 1 steak taco. The carnitas may be the best I’ve ever had! At least top 5. The steak was good, but the carnitas overwhelmed the steak. As I was eating, the owner offered me another sample, this time of brisket. It was fantastic, and I’ll 100% be back to try it out (and another carnitas). 3 tacos (street size) we’re under $8. Can’t wait to revisit.

You’ve seen this blue truck sitting next to Maxine’s across from the car wash. And maybe you’ve been scared to stop and give it a shot. Put your fear away and stop in. Juan, if I remember correctly, is from La Huerta which is located in the Jalisco region of Mexico. Super nice guy, and working alongside him in the truck you will often find various family members. he is putting out some excellent Mexican fare from this tiny little kitchen! My wife loves the Jalisco Bowl, especially when I tell them to add extra mushrooms, yum! I’ve eaten everything on the menu, and even a few things not on the menu. Nothing has disappointed me. If you’ve never had a torta, try one. All of the tacos are excellent. The burritos are super filling. Don’t know what kind of meat to try, its simple. Chicken, is what you expect. Carne Asade is basically strips of marinated steak. Either of those, you can’t go wrong. But, if you want to broaden your horizons try the Al Pastor.
