This is the best pizza I have had since being a teenager in Massachusetts. Back then the pizza was made by older Italians. We are frequently in NYC and New Haven, CT and get pizza from the well known pizzerias. Overall, Sals has been the best pizza. Not every time we have been but often enough. Fresh ingredients with the perfect crisp crunch. From a gas station..Priced much better than NY and CT too.

It’s an insult having Boston’s North End written on their pizza box . Their Pizza is the best and this doesn’t even come close, not only in case but in looks as well. Very disappointed. The pizza had no taste and there was hardly any toppings on there, which we ordered 3 toppings, and the cheese and sauce was obsolete. For the outrageous price that you pay for their pizza you would think you would get a good amount of toppings. I don’t recommend this place at all. Not worth it that’s what you get when a pizza place is attached to a gas station

Not sure about the employees’ names.. although they were both friendly. I called in an order for pickup in store, and even added to my order when I arrived! Young fellow working the counter was understanding and didn’t miss a beat! Recommend this location for sure!!

Sal’s has a standard of quality that is missing at this location. The crust was awful and proportions of sauce to toppings was a mess. I love Sal’s and I frequent the Laconia location but the Ashland location is horrible.

The place I was going to get pizza in Bristol was closed, so we looked for a local place for a Margarita pizza and found Sal’s. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. Some slices had a spot of mozzarella the size of a quarter, ONE spot. They took 1 leaf of basil and minced it for the WHOLE pizza. 3 slices had 2 miniscule pieces of basil, 2 had none. ITS A MARGARITA PIZZA. NEVER going back here. $20 to boot. Funny though, the pizzas they had on display had beautiful toppings. Guess take out pizza is where they save money. Terrible.

Didn’t sell the same pizza they sell by the slice..disappointing. I figured screw it we will try something new…it was all over cooked..and when they say smoky flavor on the menu they mean it lol. Staff were polite. I would go their for their by the slice deals but not a whole pizza.
