I was in the mood for some Mexican style tacos and Googledfor that and came upon this food truck. I’m assuming it’s pretty new, because there were but a a few reviews for it. I took a look at the menu and saw they had al pastor tacos and empanadas and had to try it out. It was a hard to find off the 130 service road because it’s all the way in the back of a long driveway and it was night time. There’s ample parking shared by a bar/restaurant next to it.

I use to live in San Antonio where there was a plethora of taco trucks close to home. After moving back to Austin and trying all the new taco trucks that have popped up over the years, I feel that this is one of the best taco trucks I’ve been to. The tortillas are A+, the meat are A+, and the consume is A+. A lot of other taco trucks have 1 or 2 of those things but lack something.

The food here is so well made and authentic. Worth every penny to find this gem.. We got our food and sat at 685 Backyard which was formerly Uncle Gary’s and had drinks to go with our meal on the patio. We will be back.
