Been to FLT a few times for lunch. I’ve had a few burritos and tacos. The chips come out quickly and the salsas are all hot. That’s great for me but not for those who are spicy-food-averse. The Mole Burrito is a great deal for lunch at 10 bucks. The shredded chicken is flavorful and the mole tastes like you’d expect with some hints of coffee, chocolate and chiles. The tacos are good as well but I think there are better taco options. I’d stick with the burritos.

While we dined on a rather busy evening for Cinco De Mayo, the restaurant was short staffed so service was extremely slow. The manager personally came over to apologize and provided some concessions of free beverages and appetizers. The food was delicious. We opted for wings, chips, and guacamole (the best I have had at a restaurant), cactus tacos, chicken, and steak fajitas. Fonda gives large portion servings, so you’ll have plenty to take home. While the service was bad due to short staffing, our server was great, and we appreciated the manager acknowledging the issue.

Authentic Mexican food, with friendly staff and great service. I went during lunchtime on a Saturday and was seated immediately and didn’t wait long for the food. The Chicken Quesadilla was very flavorful, but the margarita (while HUGE) wasn’t the best. It had a very sweet taste. Definitely worth a visit.

Horrible service and if you say something they give you dirty looks. They have different prices online and when you get there they charge you more than twice the price. Horrible place. Go to another Mexican restaurant you’ll thank me later. Who puts FRENCH fries with tortas definitely not Mexican food.

Si la señora no me oviera tratado Como un ratero lez Daria un buen review. The young lady at the register was a sweet heart and stuck up for me to let it be known I had already paid… food was good. Just a bad experience for someone to think you’re going to run off with 5 tacos after already being paid!!! I did see certain foods on menu I’d like to try, hopefully I don’t experience the same thing…

Carne asada tacos or onion tacos? I order carne asada tacos with grilled scallions on the side i get to the restaurant and theres an extra charge on my ticket and the lady is like we didnt have the grilled scallions we put extra regular onions, i was like umm ok? She rings me up and i see an extra charge so i ask her what is it and shes like its the extra onions and im like umm i didnt tell you to put them on in the first place and im not trying to be rude and have you remake the whole thing. The “manager” blonde hair lady comes up ands shes like the onions are on there and im like i didnt ask for extra regular onions i shouldnt pay for something i never asked. Another thing the staff didn’t realize i can understand Spanish but i cant speak it well so they were saying how the girl on the phone never told them i wanted the grilled scallions but thats ok i wouldnt know the difference and she will just let me know that they “didnt have it anymore”. I am beyond disappointed as this was one of my favorite places i drove all the way from concord for this place. SMH NEVER AGAIN

The food is really Delicious here. Would have given a 5star, but what gets me upset is everytime I call, remind you I call damn near everyday aaaand Fonda La Taquiza ALWAYS I MEAN ALWAYS have me place my order like 4-5times because no one can speak “English”. Then no one needs not to answer the phone because people are going to call that speak English. Or have the Mexican that does speak English pick up the phone. This is why I didn’t give you 5stars. This might get you 3stars. But because I like your food I’ll be fair and give you a 4star. BUT Y’ALL NEED TO WORK ON HAVING SPEAK ENGLISH&SPANISH TO ANSWER THE PHONES. ANNOYING….THEN I HAVE TO DRIVE ALL THE WAY THERE THEN PLACE MY ORDER…THIS SHIZNIT IS ANNOYING….
