When they were at their old location by the railroad tracks they were the Best! But now it seams like they have just been getting worse and worse! The food used to be the best but now the prices are too high for the amount of food you get! I understand the price of beef have win up but That doesn’t explain why you are getting less food and paying more money.

So I got a 2 meat plate for $16 some change I don’t believe there’s any value here the food was OK just OK I’d have been going to barbecue hut for over 25 years I remember when they were at the old location next to the train tracks over the last 10 years Their product has gone down in quality now it’s going down in quantity.

Macaroni is watered down noodles served cold, bbq beans are pork n beans from a can served cold, bbq sauce is runny and sweet, meat is never consistent to the last time you ate it, onions and pickles not fresh.

Food is still good but the prices have gone through the roof and portions have gone down. Beware if you order a small side, now it’s in basically a sauce container and they’re charging more than they used to. Used to love going here but will no longer be going.

We came to Hemstead for work. We ordered the chopped beef sandwich, Mac and cheese and a cheese cake. The sandwich was the biggest I have eaten for the price. Mac and cheese was seasoned just right and the cheesecake was a good amount for the price. Thank you ladies your doing a great job!

Used to be a good place. Individual sides are in 5oz plastic cups, Mac and cheese was $3 and melted the cup. Chopped beef sandwich was $10, mostly a “ketchup?” sauce and fell apart. 1 singular rib was $5 and I couldn’t even eat it because it was cold and unnervingly wet. Recommend: the meating place, same prices for higher quality and bigger portions- it’s not but 5 minutes away.
