We were just passing through Montrose but wanted a nice sit-down Italian meal and this place met us with great food, service and ambience. The restaurant is located in a new area of business and it looked great and was very easy to find using Google maps. The atmosphere is suitable for date night as well as family night. Our whole family of 4 went and had the fettuccine alfredo, penne alla vodka, capelli di angelo, tortellini di ricotta e pancetta and a caesar salad. Everything was delicious and we would all order it again! My only surprise was how small the salad was for $9.50.

Best Caesar salad we’ve ever had. The bread that came before our entrees was good and our entrees were great. Tiramisu was delicious and I wish we’d gotten two instead of sharing.

The fresh-made pasta was amazing with flavorful sauces and accessory ingredients. Pizza was delicious wood fired. Service staff very friendly and attentive. Risotto was undercooked, but the flavors were well done. The cheesecake dessert was well augmented by the mixed berry sauces without making it overpoweringly sweet.

Absolutely stunning menu. One of the more authentic Italian bistros I’ve eaten at. I had the calamari, caprese salad and gnocchi for a main. It was fantastic. All at very reasonable prices. I recommend this place for lunch with friends or date night. It’s perfect

Service was exceptionally fast, almost too fast and pushy. The risotta was good, but i wouldnt order it again. So many options on the menu I would have ordered 4 dishes just to try them all. Over all good value and great service.

This restaurant has the most consistently good food of any place in Montrose. I cannot recommend the chicken Parmesan enough. It is so good. I never thought I’d have some Parmesan chicken this good after leaving new England.

We come from a major city with excellent restaurants. I was very impressed with Trattoria Di Sofia — the food was excellent! Seriously. I would 100% return and just order the same stuff. They have excellent Ravioli (highly suggest the mushroom stuffed one). Pizzas are thin, crispy, and they use a nice mozz cheese. OH and you must order the cheesecake with blueberry compote — wow it was so creamy.

We went in old location and had a terrible experience, we were hoping they just were new and things would improve. Just went to new location and Service was really not good. our server didnt greet us, or smile one time. No refills were gotten, and she just didnt care. The food had improved a bit, but you just get a main dish, A dinner salad is an add on. Pricey for what you get. really disappointed.
