Decided to try Indian food in LA, to compare it to my memories when I was in Delhi.

Went for a dinner with a friend. The place is ok in terms of atmosphere and vibe. The food was ok too. I may visit again. I didn’t get a wow feeling. We ordered chicken Karahi and daal makhni.

We ordered samosa and veg biryani for the lunch; both are of great taste, samosa was totally different what is available in other restaurants. Service is also good and pleasant. Rates are good.

I have never been to an Indian restaurant that does not include plain white rice with their dishes. I ordered DoorDash and got my curry without anything to eat it with. They need to be very clear that you have to order rice when having food delivered because by the time you get your order you cannot do anything about it.

Stopped in for an early dinner. Had the chicken 65 (would skip) butter chicken and garlic naan. Big portions, we couldn’t finish the meals but I was hoping for more of an authentic tasting meal. It was good maybe next time i’ll try more spicy. Medium didn’t have much.

Let me start by saying that I lived in India for five years and have eaten the best and most authentic Indian food from the source. Saying that Anarbagh Beverly Hills ranks with some of the top Indian resturaunts globally. For example, I ordered the chicken tilla masala and most places in the US boil the chicken and mx it with the sauce. Tikka means grill. Well, Anarbagh actually grilled the chicken. Make a BIG difference. Also, papdam is a complimentary appetizer common at Indian restaurants. The crispness is what makes them the best. Not only was the papdum perfectly crispy, there were not hard bits that would have come from. Importer frying. All the food was authentic and top class. Also, were plenty of servers and the service that supreme! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Food had no taste at all (3 dishes), We asked for non spicy food, but it was super spicy and over cooked, kind of burned. I won’t come back to this place..

Good service, the food was delicious. We order the garlic naan, samosas (veg, chicken), chicken, lamb, shrimp and lentils. Everything was great and the dessert was very good (pistachio kulfi). We definitely will come back soon.
