I was going to order Golden Dragon today but they were closed so I tried out China House. Boy was that a huge mistake! The batter on the sweet and sour chicken is so thick it is inedible. The pieces of sweet and sour chicken look large, but when you cut them open they have a really tiny piece of meat and the rest is all batter. China House does not supply plum sauce for the eggrolls, another disappointment. They also do not give enough sauce for the sweet and sour chicken. The fried rice has peas in it which I do not like. When I picked my food up I was the only person picking up food and I can see why they are not busy. I ended up throwing my food away and running back up to McDonalds.

First time here was decent. The 2 guys waiting for food recommend the General Tso’s and since I get that pretty often I went with it. It’s better than some places, but not anything special. The color & flavor of it seems like they use sweet & sour sauce and then just add some chili peppers to it because it wasn’t very spicy either. I’ve had better chicken too (had a lot of the tough/stringy pieces) and there were I think 2 pieces of broccoli. Rice was fine, again nothing special, but the egg roll was the star of the combo for me. Good flavor and possibly a different wrap than I’m used to or maybe the oil used..there was definitely something unique about it, but in a good way. The portions definitely made the General Tso’s dinner combo worth it, but I think I’ll try something else next time. Also had to try the egg drop/wonton soup combo because I’ve never seen that before and it was great! Wontons had great flavor and there was plenty of them. I’d have been happy and full with just the soup and a couple egg rolls. Atmosphere was pretty disappointing because someone previously crashed through one of the windows which was boarded up so it was a little cold inside, but they’re also using the main lobby/eating area as a storage room so there’s boxes everywhere. Don’t plan on dining in. Service was quick and friendly with typical wait time on food. All in all, I’ll be back like a terminator.

Ordered the General Tso’s chicken combination. The sauce was bright red/orange like sweet and sour sauce with a few hot pepper flakes in it. It was not spicy at all. The chicken was over done, tough, and stringy. The two small pieces of broccoli were overcooked and saturated in the sweet sauce. The fried rice had no flavor, no eggs and just had peas and carrots. The egg roll seemed fresh, but only had cabbage and carrots and no sprouts in it. It was all very bland and disappointing. It was over priced for the quality.

Very convenient location coming in and out of town on M-24 It helps that it is located by a major grocery store. We did take out / pick up on a Friday night. The “star” lost in my rating is really about the lack of access to a menu online that is in a reader friendly format. Investing in decent website hosting with a clearly readable menu is pretty important if you’re running a restaurant, in my opinion. The young man taking telephone orders was nice and thorough. The pick up process was smooth and easy. The food was made fresh, well packaged, and tasty. I’ll likely be stopping by on my way home from work when it’s my turn to make dinner!

We order today orange chicken with fried rice, kang poo shrimp, couple different soups, dumplings and spring rolls. Shrimp were decent but everything else was disappointing, especially dumplings that normally have dough made of rice flower. This dough was think and all you tasted eating is bunch of flour. Will not be going back there again.

This restaurant is clean and quick with tasty dishes. It is a classic American Chinese take away store.

No msg, so the taste is missing something, I’ll admit it. However, my family and I love this restaurant and almost always get our takeout here. We have been going on a regular basis for years, and the service was always great, and we never had an issue getting sauce packets or anything like that. They’re on a table by the takeout window inside. The prices are what you’d expect, not expensive. My family has said their beef isn’t the best, but I have heard good things about the pork. I always get the chicken, which is good. Chicken with garlic sauce is my number one recommendation, it is the best (unless you don’t like spice). Otherwise, I like this place.

Ordered food and when I went in for pickup there’s no one else there. I waited for a couple minutes and left. Very strange way to run a takeout restaurant.
