This restaurant is located on 3rd street in San Juan Bautista. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is on parklet type patio that the city built on the street, So cars to drive right by. We ordered appetizers of Calamari sticks and edamame. The calamari does not come with any sauces, but the server was happy to bring us a side of spicy mayo to dip them in. The waitress let us know that there were 3 types of edamame (Plain, Garlic, and Spicy Garlic) we decided on the Garlic and Spicy Garlic. Everyone at our table enjoyed the Garlic Edamame most, but the spicy version was good too. The rest of the food was very good and nicely plated. The server was polite but we did have to ask for a few things multiple times as they were forgotten. But all in all it was a nice experience and we will go back!

We’ve been here a few times now and are always surprised that their bento box meals only have meats to choose from. We usually choose a meat, vegetable and some rolls. Instead you have to order those items on the side which inflates your bill. I think this is done purposely which feels sneaky.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! I came here because of convenience. This is a 27 dollar plate and my sushi was the size of a quarter. This is ridiculous. I usually go to ariagto in salinas and it’s almost 3 times the size. This is not worth 27 dollars maybe 10 dollars. This is a joke of a place and they are basically stealing your money. When i called and complained about how small everything was she said that her regular chef made it and it’s a normal portion size. Believe me this is wayyyy Below average ive eaten more sushi than i can count and in different states and it’s never been this bad. She did offer me to buy another roll but at this point it’s not worth the money. I got more ginger than some of that fish. Please do not go here you will be ripped off.
