A great experience all around. The building is a old bank ( safe door still in tact) the food is very sophisticated. We got the salmon dip, oysters and the burger as well as a few cocktails. Every bite was delicious. Sullivan the bartender was very attentive and the drinks were strong. We will definitely be going back to try the rest of the menu.

Walked by on the way into the cigar bar, saw the sign and stopped in for a drink. Everyone was amazing. We stopped by the bar for a cocktail and Josh told us the history of the restaurant and the building. It is a unique restaurant with plenty of history. Already planing our next visit to explore the menu but will be back to for sure! 100% recommend.

The Farnsworth experience has been a long time coming, but totally worth the wait! The menu is constantly evolving and there is always a new food item/drink to try each time you go in. It is so nice to have a high end seafood restaurant in the area where you can trust that every detail is meticulously prepared and perfected. The NY strip was unbelievable, my first taste of caviar was surprisingly delicious, and Saison Dupont on draft was the cherry on top. I can’t say enough about the work Josh and his team put in to make our experience feel personalized and unique, will definitely continue to be a routine stop in the future. Keep up the good work Farnsworth team!

My husband and I went here after my graduation and had a great time! We got the smoked salmon dip, torched oysters, dozen raw oysters, and a mule/daiquiri. My only critique is I wish the menu was larger!

We went for the first time tonight and we were impressed! We had the Old Fashioned, Whiskey Sour, Daiquiri, and Margarita. They were all excellent but the Whiskey Sour was my favorite! The sweet bartender even gave us the recipe! We also had the bread and Pimento Dip and both were delicious! Will definitely be back!

What a cool place. Real nice vibe inside with great decor. Their cocktail game is strong, Sullivan was great too! The shrimp roll and steak were my personal favorites, get them if they’re on the menu. Planning on making another trip this week to try the cheeseburger, it’s drool inducing on their instagram posts. Went to Farnsworth Cocktail bar last night for the first time. Excellent service, food was wonderful, especially if you like seafood and oysters on the half shell! The “torched” garlic butter oysters were incredible, so was the steak! Sauce is fantastic, but the sauce is spicy, order on the side or without if you don’t like spice! The BREAD was to die for! THICK, dense, but moist and grilled! STRONG drinks and it’s beautiful on the inside! How they utilized the bank safe was very creative! Great experience!

My husband and I have loved FCB, we go every week now and call it Farnsworth Friday. We have had every menu item from oysters on the half shell, steak, burger, salad, salmon dip you name it. We have especially enjoyed the burger lately and the cocktails always taste great. We receive amazing service and great food. The atmosphere is on point and is perfect for an elevated evening out. Even when the restaurant is busy we have had exemplary service. The oysters taste so fresh and the salmon dip is delicious. The staff are informed on all menu items and are able to provide recommendations as well as descriptions of food and cocktails. We have an excellent experience each week and somehow have a new menu item to try each time we go. Thank you FCB for coming to the old bank in Waterville!
