Expensive – Sides are extra. Pulled pork was good. Service was good. Atmosphere was very loud. Ribs are spicy dry rub. Assortment of BBQ sauce provided on table. Personally, I prefer sweet baby backs, but if you enjoy dry rub, worth a visit.

My husband and I just stumbled onto this place. We were passing in the area looking for something to eat and ended up here….definitely a good choice! We ordered both the brisket and the ribs along with some of the sides including the Mac and Cheese (a must). The meat was amazingly tender and moist and the service was great. We chatted for a little bit with the server and apparently they just re-opened and were a buffalo wild wing type of place before. She said the menu is completely new and it took them a couple of weeks to get things down, but if our food was any indication of the rest of the menu, then they really are doing a great job. Looking forward to coming back the next time we are in Jackson.

The beef brisket sandwich was awesome! They have some really good barbecue sauces as well. The price is standard for barbecue foods. Had a problem using a visa gift card during my visit, (a $50 card only let $40 be used, and my card balance was then $2…) but that is my only complaint.

The Look of the new place is really nice. Service wasn’t bad but a little slow considering they weren’t that busy. But 4 of us got wings, all different flavors and no one liked them at all. There was Hardly any sauce on the wings and there was way too much breading. 3 out of 4 of us got sick after eating them. I won’t eat there again.

Ordered just about everything they had as far as house made food and tried it all. Overall experience of this place leaves me speechless and wanting more. Highly recommend stopping into this place and trying everything they have to offer. Everything was just amazing and out of everything, I think, my favorite would have to be the chicken. Excellent staff, excellent food, excellent atmosphere. PERFECT

Our waitress was awesome. She was overwhelmed but amazing. The brisket was cold and full of fat. Our waitress immediately took back the cold greasy brisket sandwich and replaced it with something else. The ribs were perfect as far as fall off the bone but they had no flavor. The meat literally only could be called bbq because they were smoked. If they were seasoned you couldn’t tell. The only positive parts were the sauces and the amazing waitress.

It is one thing always wanting to own a Smokehouse, and it’s another thing knowing want you are doing. The ribs are were very tender, but had a very spicy rub on them. Unless you are going to offer different types of ribs, then you put your heat into the sauces and let the customer make that choice. Sauces were also a little strange. Pulled pork was very good. Macaroni was made with sea shells. Sorry, but not a fan! It reminded me of Kraft Macaroni & Cheese, except they throw in some extra different cheese (just so so, and not worth the $5.00 they charge). I have eaten barbecue all across the United States, including MO, TX, & NC, were you will find the best. I would love to find a great Smokehouse in the Jackson area, but this is not the one. Not yet anyways! Hope they can improve!

Terrible service. There are two waitresses working very hard, but the rest of them are useless. We had to wait almost 15 minutes for the server to come back and take our order. Just as we were about to get up and leave he came back. 2nd drink orders have taken another 15 minutes and still haven’t arrived.

Took my family here on December 23rd, place was uncrowded and I was actually looking for another restaurant entirely, but ended up here. Boy am I glad I did. Good wings, AMAZING home made cheese sticks, friendly staff and a great drink menu, This place is an absolute GEM in Jackson.
