The food was edible, but certainly not something to enjoy. Had the philly cheesesteak and grilled cheese. Fries were cold. Cheese steak was bland with a roll that was like a too-big stale generic-brand hot dog bun that was barely grilled to warm on the crust only. The grilled cheese didn’t even melt the two slices of American cheese all the way and they just tossed it in the griddle with no butter/oil. And given that it’s Crazy Otto’s, we expected to at least have it on Texas toast since the price for it was ridiculous, but nope. The person who brought it out just dropped it and took off without asking if we needed anything (which we did). This was our second visit to a Crazy Otto’s (the first was when they first opened in Canyon Country), and we still feel the same way we felt the first time: stupid wasteful serving sizes for half the menu, overpriced, and really not very good food. I don’t feel the need to try a third time.

I have been wanting to try this place for awhile. Today I finally stopped in and I am so glad I did. the food is freshly made (homemade sausage patties) and the portions are ginormous. I got the three pancakes and they are as big as the plate. the food is delicious.

2021.05-01/0930: If you want the feel of being in your hometown and at your parents’ or grandparents’ house, come to Crazy Otto’s. You will feel like you’re at home with your family!!! From the time we walked in until the time we left, we were happy campers!!

Walked in and was not greeted. We just sat down and our server (Amanda) came and didn’t even say hello just asked what we wanted to drink. The service was terrible. I needed more napkins and a refill and had to keep asking. It’s also mainly white people and white servers so maybe since we were brown they didn’t give us the same service as the rest of the guests did.
