Excellent place to eat. Extremely affordable and nice big portions. Fresh chips and salsa. Giant iced tea. Waitress was attentive and friendly. I don’t know why this place isn’t overflowing with customers. Still kinda new. Check it out if you’re in the area. No way you will be disappointed. Looks like they have plans to start serving breakfast soon. Enjoy it.

I’ve been here twice now. The salsa is one of my favorites right now. The San Antonio plate is 3 cheese enchiladas on a huge plate. They were good but kinda had a burned flavor on the corn tortillas. The cheese, gravy and rice were real good though. Sweet tea was decent. Beef fajita taco was supposed to be no onions but it was still packed with meat. The carne guisada was very tender, had good flavor and lots of gravy. They use cheddar for everything so that’s a big plus. Good service, clean restaurant. I like it.

My brother has been here twice and said it was really good. My mom and I stopped for dinner today. The place is nice and love the decorations. Waitress was really nice and great service, but the food was not good. Queso flamaldo was super oily. The birria tacos had a lot of meat but weren’t cooked in the consome. The corn tortilla was just heated up and had zero flavor. My mom’s chicken mole was just ok. Charged a service fee of $2 for using a credit card. If I knew that before, I would have paid cash.

Don Benito’s count your days!!! I’ve passed by this place while working and decided to have lunch. The atmosphere is nice and that’s about it. I sat myself, got like a 1/4 full basket of broken chip crumbs and salsa. The sweet tea was watered down. My “Don Benito’s special” was special but not in a good way. The refried beans were swimming in so much oil it looked like chorizo. The enchiladas were nothing special but it’s hard to mess up cheese and tortillas I guess. The chalupa was alright; nothing special and the crispy taco was a soggy oily mess. I seen some good reviews for dinner time but lunch was not it!! Glancing over at the bar area it looked unkept. The plasticware was a nice comical touch for this dine-in customer. . No

I’ve been wanting to visit here for a while. My bff & I walked in today (04/21/2023) it’s a Friday afternoon & there’s not many people here yet. We chose a booth and took in the decor. My favorite piece is the loteria artwork they have. There’s also some pretty metal decorations on the wall.

We had a great experience. We had the enchilada special for $5.99 and margaritas special for $2. We also had 3 sets of $7 tacos. They were all amazing.

I’m so glad we tried this place out last night. Beautiful restaurant with delicious food. My husband had the mini tacos with pastor. He loved them. He gave me a bite, and I agree. Definitely more flavorful than the ones from the Mexican restaurant across the way I had the carne guisada plate. Delicious! Best I’ve had in a while. Rice and beans tasted great. Big portion. Our group tried the enchiladas Tejanos and cheese quesadilla. Thumbs up. Their flour and corn tortillas are fresh made! Always a plus. They have menudo and pozole, which we didn’t get to try. That’s more of a breakfast thing for our family. I hope they can open for breakfast soon so we can try their breakfast tacos!! We will be back. Our waiter was very friendly and patient. Recommending this place to our neighbors. Keep up the great work!
