So the first time I came here, I was sitting next to the owner and didn’t even know it. We got in a conversation and then he asked me what I’d like. I had no idea so he suggested that I get the Reuben. Now I’m iffy on my ruebens, but he guaranteed that I’d like it or he’d get me something else. With that said I got it, and will say that it’s among the best I’ve ever had. Just had another one today. So if you’re driving through and happen to stop in, I’ll tell you to definitely try them out. Great atmosphere, great people and best of all great food.

The food is really good and the service was great. Very friendly people. There’s a huge parking area for truckers and it’s very well lit. Just have to be careful of the potholes. Which is really not that bad. Planning on stopping here again in the future.

Me, chicken fried steak and eggs. The steak was tender and delicious, with exactly the perfect crunch to the breaded exterior. The sausage gravy was the right sort of creamy and spice. My wife got a vegetable chicken stir fry, that she said she hasn’t had as good in years. My daughters had pancakes, eggs, and corned beef and hash… all made deliciously and served with a flourish and a smile.

It’s reminiscent of the almost bygone mom&pop family restaurants. Although its technically a truck stop it doesn’t really have that ambiance. It’s somewhat cozy for couples, has a decent menu selection with reasonable prices! Calling for hours recommended as they’ve shortened their hours of operation during this Pandemic opening at 6am and closing at 2pm.
