A young man was our server. He was pleasant and knowledgeable. We ordered breakfast with coffee for me and juice for my Manfriend. Everything was cooked perfectly. Eggs, perfect. Hash browns not too crispy. Toast was dry as ordered. Biscuits were soft and tender. Gravy had a crazy amount of sausage mixed in. Coffee was perfect and he even offered a to go cup. Other servers were filling cups with coffee and glasses with water. Everyone working together. Bathrooms were dated but spotless. The window sills were free of dust and insects.

Our waiter took our order and that’s the last we saw him. Someone else served our food. We had to go up and get refills on our soda. The lady I was with had hashed browned potatoes which weren’t very brown. She also had biscuits and she didn’t like them. They were frozen biscuits and not homemade. My food was good. The French fries were hot and delicious. The soup was ok.

One of the most pleasant dining experiences in a long time! My wife and I dropped in to this cozy little family-owned diner and had a late lunch, consisting of an open-faced hot roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and thick, dark brown gravy; liver and onions; and a side order of fresh, home-cut French fries. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious!! The BEST part was having hospitable service. Our server, Nora, was very friendly, happy, out-going and courteous!

You won’t have the option to run out of anything or need anything. Water and coffee were ALWAYS full and everyone was so nice. Everything was efficient and nice. Also super clean. Not from Macon but will definitely stop again when we’re through town.

We went Sunday AM when camping at the state park. We had DELICIOUS bacon and good biscuits and gravy. Next time I will get toast and bacon and an egg. The staff was capable and efficient and friendly!
