This place is INCREDIBLE. The food is amazingggggg. Portions are huge. One dish can feed 2 easily. I do think they’re a little shortstaffed in the kitchen cuz the food took a whilee but it was honestly worth the wait. The waiter was really nice and I’m surprised the place was kind of empty. Best seafood I’ve had in my life. I can’t wait to go back

Very good food for the price. I purchased the fat Tuesday platter and everything was delicious. The seafood was seasoned great. And the sides I got were mac and cheese and red beans and rice both were delicious. Will definitely be going again anytime I’m on the area.

This place is overall pretty good. The serving size matches the price. One order is enough for two people. The music inside was kind of loud. I got the Hennessy wings, the seafood mac & cheese, and the peach cobbler beignets. The wings are really good. The peach cobbler beignets are amazing. The mac and cheese was extremely salty. It had too much salt based seasonings such as old bay, cajun and salt pretty much salt on top of salt. The crab meat had a lot of shells. But I would still recommend this restaurant because the other food was really good.

The food was absolutely amazing and well prepared, My favorite was the Voo Doo wings because they were right in between sweet and spicy. This is my 5th time eating here this week and I just can’t get enough, I would definitely recommend.

Wings were excellent but I didn’t care for the shrimp and grits. They were too salty. The carb cake sandwich was delightful. The peach tea was way to sweet and the pineapple lemonade taste like medicine.

I’d heard from a trusted friend that this place had some of the best southern food on this side of the Mississippi, and he wasn’t lying. My wife and I tried a little bit of everything to have our own opinions of the food. I can honestly say, Nakia (Chef/Owner) is as gifted a chef as any in the country. EVERYTHING was amazing, prepared and served with genuine southern hospitality! If you’re curious about the across the board five-star ratings, it’s because I’m a southerner and I understand the authenticity of this place. The greater San Diego community must support this gem of a restaurant.

They’re still not officially open yet so don’t get upset over the fact they aren’t fast. The food is AMAZING and worth the wait. Right now they’re open but they still don’t have everything in place. Call ahead with your order, text, or come in well before you’re hangry so they have time to get it right. They used to be Cravin Crab Cakes and they’ve moved here.

Wife found this place online and wanted to give it a try. We came in and placed an order (two platters and a cup of gumbo). We were originally told about a 30 min wait which was no problem. About 45 min goes by with no update so I ask about how much longer. I was told by the server he would check. Another 30 min goes by with no update. He then comes by and says he will go check on the food. After another 15 min with no update, we walked out. Would’ve liked to try the food but waiting over a hour and a half is ridiculous. Won’t be back to give it another try.

Found this place by accident. Blown away. Chef was super nice. Gentleman that sat us and waited on us was a cool guy. We enjoyed discussing the food with two other customers and laughed about seeing them again soon as we make our way through the menu. You will go for the food. Enjoy!!!
