Very good food and friendly service, the order had 4 barbacoa tacos and they were excellent, haven’t tried good authentic barbacoa here in El Paso in a very long time, would defined come back to try the rest of the menu only complaint is that they only accept cash :/

If you are visiting El Paso and want to try out some of the more local places, I highly recommend Virginia’s. Joe and his mother Virginia are super friendly and the food is amazing. We had the Menudo, mixed Gorditas, and the Barbacoa Burrito, which were all amazing. They close early on the weekend, so check the hours, but such good food, amazing prices, and super friendly owners that it is definitely worth it.

Gorditas are well sized. The actual corn shell was so tasty I enjoyed eating it more than the picadillo meat they stuff it with. The menudo was great, with just the right amount of spice. During the tamal season orders need to be placed way ahead of time because the wait is long. Too many people know about this gem. Virginia take great pride in her food check out her health department scores.
