I had dinner with my daughter and her fiance at Compadres this evening for the first time and everything was excellent. Perfect amount of food and delicious margaritas. Even the water tastes good. The service was great too. I highly recommend it and I will be back.

I have worked for a restaurant for many years, and this place definitely lacks customer service when answering their phone calls and serving. When I was seated I was not offered a booster seat or high chairs for my toddlers. So I figured they didn’t have any of those things. Also, it was 40 min before their closing time, and it seemed like they were in a rush. They really didn’t care about the customer service. They were vacuuming while we were eating. When I was served I didn’t get silverware, the lady just dropped off the food and left. She didn’t ask if we needed anything else. I had wave someone down to get silverware. They never came by my table to ask if I needed anything. The food was small portioned and my whole plate was drowning in cheese. After the plate cooled down it was hard for me to separate my food because off all the cheese. Unfortunately last time I will be going there.

This place rocks! Off the beaten path and with any extra effort you may need to use to find it. The food is authentic and well prepared, not and fresh. Nice quiet place,, and although it is small, you don’t get the sense that you are being crowded. Top it off with a first-rate staff that is super friendly, very knowledgeable, and as efficient as I’ve seen and you have perfection. Process are good, too. It’s forty miles from my home, but I’ll drive it just for the food.

Probably one the best Mexican food places I’ve eaten at (which has been a lot) We got take out and were blown away. The carne asada was perfectly tender and not chewy at all and well seasoned, same with the rice and beans, not too salty like I’ve had at a lot of places. Just amazing. The salsa is to die for too! Just absolutely delicious!

I gave a 3 because the item I got was good not spectacular but good. What hurt the most was the price. I ordered a chili relleno. The website listed the price at 5.00 for the one side item. It’s a pepper stuffed with cheese, Battered and deep fried. I thought the price was fair. When I went in to pick up the two I ordered the price was over 18.00. I wanted it to be spectacular, for that much money it should have been. That was my first time there and I doubt I’ll ever be back, the food was ok but I just can’t justify paying a high price for mediocre food.

We have eaten here a few times and love the food. However, it’s hard to order sometimes because they close their kitchen at random hours. We have called twice on separate occasions attempting to order for pickup. And been told that they are done for the night but when we have asked what time they close their kitchen, they just say it’s whatever time it currently is. We were told 8:45 tonight, last time it was 8:30 but they don’t close until 9:30. It’s a small town with limited options for restaurants so it’s too bad that they close their kitchen early and at whatever time they decide for the evening.

We enjoyed the tasty ample portions, which our daughter raved about this great find. The service was excellent even though Tammy Lynn our waitress, was understaffed.

Love the food here and especially like the vibe of their outdoor seating in the summer. I tried to place my order online with no success. I ended up being unknowingly charged by a third party service and not being able to order. I had to eventually call the restaurant to place my order.
